Belt for my singer sewing machine

2 x leather drive straps for a 1908 Singer Treadle sewing machine.. Just cut to size, make a hole with the bradawl (provided) and hook the metal through the hole. Easy peasy

I only bought this set for the two leathers and staples, but the awl actually turned out to be accidentally well tempered, it wasn't seated properly or centred so I had to drill the handle out and reset it. The cutters are crap steel but actually sharp enough to easily snip threads. It's really barely worth a fiver but it will get the job done for a while. The leather is about as dry as you might guess for the low budget offering. It's probably better to make up one band, oil the left overs and then by the time you get to replace the dry band the oiled one should last longer.

This pack was bought to give a selection of extras and spares for a Singer 29k71 that I had up for sale. As such I have not used any of these pieces, the machine has not sold yet, but I have no concerns with the quality of what I can see in this set.

Good value for money. Only -ve was that I was expecting larger diameter cord. In any case will work and two supplied which is excellent
