This unbranded extractor exceeded my expectations. It could easily pass for a top-end branded item. it is quiet, easy to use and very efficient. I am an engineer and can see that the build quality is very good and is comparable to a high end branded appliance. We fitted this into a large kitchen where a ceiling mounted extractor was difficult to fit and were concerned that this would not 'pull' steam and cooking smells as well as a ceiling-mounted one. We needn't have been worried and the powerful but quiet fan sucks all the air across the hob and down through the charcoal filter. We have vented into a cupboard behind the unit and it is working fine like that, no need to vent to outside.

Buyers beware! These extractors appear cheap, but the old saying of buy cheap buy twice is appropriate. Ours worked fine for 14 months. However, it has now developed what appears from other reviews to be a common fault. This means that the lift mechanism no longer works and is completely dead. The seller is completely unhelpful and seems to think quoting a 12 month warranty is sufficient customer service. You get what you pay for, but buying one of these every year could soon add up!

Easy to install, easy to change vent from front to back ( note it vents to duct horizontally, front to back). Easy to wire, does take up a lot of room. Nice stainless trim, easy to clean. Beautiful sightlines, quiet and impressive when in use. LED lights are of 7k frequency so a cool white. Easy wipe clean, although will show smears (as a glass hob will) unless polished when dry.

Great looking extractor within our kitchen and purchased after lots of research. Great extraction rates, easy to use and relatively quiet. Fitted this extractor into a 1000x440 Wren cabinet with plenty of room within cabinet for this and other storage. Easy to fit for a DIY enthusiast. Would have given 5 stars but unfortunately the extractor developed a mechanical fault and required replacing. Fantastic customer services from the supplier theWriteBuy who replaced the item fast and with no quibbles.

We bought this with more Hope than expectation as the price is so low compared to similar models. We waited a year to review as we thought it may pack in by then. It has massively surpassed our expectations - it works well (the grot we clean from the filter is testament to that) and looks really, really slick. It’s so sexy!!!! The only thing I’d grumble about is it's a bit of a pain to clean, the filter pops out and cleans easily enough, but the bit behind the filter is more awkward and there are some wee gaps that you can’t really get into, but at least they aren’t visible when the filter is back on. But seriously, the cleaning is a minor thing - this is really a wonderful device. I hesitated and investigated for months before buying this (it’s still an expensive buy after all) and have never regretted my purchase for a second.

We've had this downdraft installed and working smoothly for two weeks now. It's quiet than we thought it would be, even on the highest fan setting. There are enough settings to be flexible with timing, extraction rate for every instance. It's very easy to clean and looks great both extended and retracted. It takes a bit of thinking regarding extraction routes etc but once you have this then it's so far been faultless.

This was a complete waste of money. Cookology tried to get out of refunding or replacing stating that the warranty starts from the day the order is placed. They put this, in writing, twice stating I was not entitled to a refund or replacement. However, when I said I would be going to Trading Standards they admitted the warranty starts from the delivery date. I had already told them this, but they had said I was wrong!!! They said the one I ordered was not available so offered a CHEAPER model!!! They also said that the new, cheaper one would have NO warranty. So basically, if it was faulty, I would not be entitled to a replacement! Nice little warmer if you want to get rid of faulty items! Also, I had to pay for people to fit it and they refused to pay for this so I am out of pocket. Do they care? No! Avoid this company at all costs.

I have recently had this cooker hood installed and all I can say is WOW!!!! It is amazing. Even the electricians that installed it wanted to take pictures of it. They said that it was fairly simple to install and so far we have had no problems with it at all. It is certainly a talking point in the kitchen. I have attached a video. Great product looks amazing would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of installing a downdraft.
