NEW 5 STAR REVIEW (FRUITY PEBBLES FLAVOR): Despite my original experience with ISO 100, I saw the Fruity Pebbles flavor and the actual endorsement from Post, and just had to try it. A lot of folks think taste shouldn’t matter when it comes to protein powders (I once did too), but now that there ARE actually quality proteins that are also good-tasting (like this one!), there’s no reason to settle for one you have to choke down... This one is an actual treat! It took a couple tries to get the ingredients and ratio down, but when I did, I was shocked at how reminiscent of the cereal it actually is. I first tried it with Silk cashew/almond/pea protein “milk,” and that was ok but not much to talk about. But when I tried it with water, WOW! It may be partially because I’ve always preferred skim milk, but the flavor was a total blast from the past. I took it a step further by adding a splash of my go-to sweetener (Torani Pure sugar free vanilla syrup) and now it’s hard to stop at one serving!! I’ll definitely be giving other flavors a try now. So glad I gave this a second chance!! Apart from flavor and a strong nutritional profile, there’s no weird aftertaste and no stomach upset. Truly a wonderful supplement. ORIGINAL 3 STAR REVIEW (CAKE FLAVOR): I tried the bday cake flavor of this and it is absolutely terrible tasting! But, that being said, I don’t buy supplements expecting them to taste like a dessert—I know they are likely to be rough, but this flavor was REALLY rough to drink on it’s own; HOWEVER, when mixed with liquid chai tea mix (the kind you get prepare in a carton at the grocery store), it actually tastes pretty good. The issue there is that you have to add a very sugary substance to the product to make it tolerable. Despite the taste, the ingredients are quality and the protein/fat ratio is really good (thus the 3 stars) so there’s no doubt it’s a strong supplement, but if you dread drinking it, that can only take you so far.

This is a good protein shake! I just got it today so I can't say on it effects yet, but it tastes good! I am a sugar ADDICT, especially addicted to chocolates and cakes and literally cannot go a day without sweets. This shake is SWEET! Almost too sweet. I think it would still be good with 2x the amount of milk/water it suggests, which is good because it recommends 4oz to a scoop. It didn't taste exactly like I expected it too, but it does taste like cake! It's very good, not chalky at all.

I like this protein a lot. Good taste and good texture. Blends well and it's nice and smooth, not frothy. I like that it has 25g of protein with only 110 calories. Good for weight loss, however it's supposedly super quick digesting so it might not keep you full for too long if you're doing meal replacement, but hey I'm no doctor! The only thing I don't like is that it's SUPER sweet! Yes, you do get used to the sweetness, but if you're trying to live a healthier lifestyle, you shouldn't be getting your pallet accustomed to super sweet tasting things, it'll just make you crave more sweetness later on. Somewhat of a contradiction, but oh-well. Over all, I do like it!

A little backstory: I couldn't figure out why my tummy was always so gross feeling after working out. I had the bubbles, the gurgles, the groans... sometimes gastrointestinal distress that could clear a barn. It was... unfriendly. Little did I know, some powders don't mix well with Acid Reflux. So I went looking for a gentler, GERD-friendly complex that most importantly, could not contain almonds. I came across Dymatize... and cake? Fast forward: I've been using this product for a month now, and I cannot... CANNOT get over how great it is! There's no chalky taste, it smells heavenly, it absorbs beautifully, and it's really versatile. Best of all-- no more GI issues! I'm all about trying the cinnabun mix next! It can have a few chunks, so if you're a texture person, put it in your shaker cup and mix letting it sit for about 30 mins before adding your blender ball in. Unlike other formulas, I've found this has fixed the small clumps. Also, I don't always need the full amount so I use a shaker cup and either 1/2 scoop with 6oz of 1% milk or a whole scoop in 9 oz of milk. For a fun treat, I put some in a little chocolate milk and it's a party! Listen, if other protein powders bother your tummy, try this! I promise you won't be disappointed!

This protein powder is one of the best tasting protein powders I’ve ever had. I really like to take the protein powders and turn them into another flavor by adding some powdered Jell-O mix or extracts. One of my go to flavors is using this mix, adding a little bit of butter extract and some sprinkles and then it’s cake batter. Awesome way to substitute and still get the healthy calories you need.

Firstly I love Dymatize especially the classic chocolate. The Birthday cake I'm unsure about the flavour, I dont love it or dont hate it. I'm giving it a 3 star as it shows on the product label on the Amazon listing as 0 lactose and on the container it says 0.5 lactose . This is the second container different flavors that's said 0 lactose on the website and got it on the container when I've recieved it. The last one made my stomach hurt , I've only had one serving of this one and been ok up to press. In saying that the flavors of Dymatize are about the best you can get for protien powder and I've had quite a few different brands and flavors.

This whey isolate powder is delicious and does not give you that bloated feeling like most whey powders. It is very, very, sweet so if you have a problem with that this might not be the powder for you. I blend in fruit like bananas and strawberries to balance out the sweetness. I've been using this product since February and it really is making a difference in my lean muscle mass developement. I use a blender bottle to mix this with almond or coconut milk. I will continue to use this product, it's really good!

Bien sabor al inicio aunque después de varias tomas se vuelve enfadoso y es muy dulce

Sabe muy bien, es algo dulce por lo que para gente que se empalaga no la recomiendo, pero si como a mi les gusta los postres y dulces está perfecta. Se desuelde rápido y no deja grumos ni aftertaste.
