4 Pairs Avid BB5 Disc Brake Pads and Springs, Semi Metallic BB 5 BB-5

I have not had them long enough to see how they wear that is the reason for the 4 star. Otherwise they have great stopping power considering I am a super clydesdale. For those who are replacing brake pads for the first time ever it would be nice if they had some kind of indicator or intruction on which way they go on. The other part I liked was the price. You get 4 pairs for basically the price of one at a bike shop.

I have been using on my electric bike. The pads that came stock with the bike I built it from lasted about 2 weeks. I bought these to replace them.After about 8000 miles I am now going to install the second pair.

Good disc pads for the money. Have used them for years and will continue to use them. Nice disc pads.

I ride "all mountain" with a lot of braking during descents. These seem to be as good as any other brake pads I've used. And no squealing!

Can't beat this price. The last time I had a set of these pads put on my bike the bike shop charged me $36.00 plus labor. Pads are original replacement parts from Avid.

Fits perfect on my bike and works good. Have them on my by for a few weeks now.

These guys worked great and if you know how to install them and adjust them properly, they are awesome. Much better than the stock brakes that came with my fat tire bike.

Bought these as they are a cheaper alternative to the proper Avid BB5 pads. Not actually road tested them yet but they fit perfectly well. I'm sure the performance will be just as good, too.

I'd had these a few months now and they work fine. I was concerned that they might wear down more quickly than "official" pads, but that's not the case. In all respects they are indistinguishable from more expensive pads I've bought in the past

promt delivery, I taken them out & comared with original pads, all looks OK. Noticed these pads are marked "in & out" as the braking material is shaped I expect that they need to be fitted in correct position. Not yet tried them out but looking forward to seeing how they perform :-)
