Disappointed in this product. As another reviewer has pointed out, shining a light through the flat side of the stone projects the hidden text so that the lettering is backwards. When I tried simply shining the light through the other, rounded side of the stone, no words projected at all. So I tried viewing the text via the cellphone selfie camera method, finding that again my options were limited to either viewing backward text (that was mostly blurry at the edges and clearly legible in only a nickel-sized field of my phone screen's center) or just a very nice close-up of the stone's convex side, and no text at all.Another reviewer stated that by engaging the selfie camera feature that flips/mirrors whatever picture is taken, one can then read the text as it should be, since mirroring the image flips the backward text to display properly. While this is a nice workaround, I don't feel like my wife should have to first adjust her camera settings whenever she wants to view the secret message.The sad thing is that it is a pretty piece of jewelry overall. It's got a clear, shiny finish, and a good concept in the "secret message" thing. It's a shame it is so poorly executed. I am in the process of returning this item for a refund.

My son bought this for his girlfriend for Christmas, hopefully she’ll love it and hope that the necklace will last.

My girlfriend loves it. I wish the chain was a little longer, and that perhaps the monocle was a little larger to make it easier to shine light into. But overall an absolute winner of a gift

This necklace came in a little clear pouch display on a little card. My wife was super excited, but it's a little difficult to read the messages - but may be we just haven't figured it out yet. Over all my wife still really likes it and she's a fan of minimalist / small jewelry so she's actually been wearing it around.

This was a Christmas gift and she loved the message that was intended to be made. It was a little difficult seeing the words but when she did see it she loved it. The most important thing is my daughter in law loves it because we love her.

Very beautiful necklace with a simple message. Tried using my phone to see the inside but didn't work for me. When held up to the light, you could see what it says. Using a magnifying glass did help too. Made very well, just wish it came in a box rather than a cardboard holder.

Cute/neat necklace with a durable chain. Wish it came in better packaging but really for the price you can't beat it.
