Does very well for the price
I really liked the way this product worked. I was detailing my car which had about 8 years worth of dog hair in it. I tried about 3 different devices to get the dog hair out and this one was the cheapest and worked the best. Second best was the pumice stone cleaner. The pumice stone did surprisingly better than I though it would. The least effective was a rubber blade device, but it did work well on tight places, although the rubber blade wanted to work loose. The handle makes on this makes it nice for cleaning the large carpet areas. One thing that I want to note is it is a good idea to after brushing an area with it to vacuum the brush clean or otherwise you can transfer a few hairs to clean carpet areas. Also, don’t worry about the brush raking all of the hairs to one area. Many of the hairs that it doesn’t move, it works loose and brings them to the top of the carpet so that they are easy to vacuum up. As one commenter mentioned, it is screwed to the handle. So you could unscrew it for use in tight spots. Or you could screw it to a scrap strip of plywood for those tight spots for a long handle.

Great way to clean hard to remove pet hair from carpets.
This is a part of three items (and reviews) I bought to clean my car’s pet hair. So I’ll try to compare this with the other two items. I was looking at YouTube for ways to remove pet fur from inside of a car, cos I got a car from a private seller which had kept a dog in the car a lot. Although I’m a dog loving person having pet fur in my car (especially the pet being someone else’s!) wasn’t the most appealing thing. Couple of youtube reviews suggested getting a rubber bristled brush for removing pet hair especially near plastic trims. So I found this to be one of the cheapest rubber brushes and thought of giving a try. So this item is one of the three main cleaning items I used to fully clean my car from pet hair. Other two were a car vacuum cleaner (BOSS 007) and a Fur-zoff stone. I’ve reviewed those two too. This brush was very helpful in brushing off the fur and collecting it in a single place to be vacuumed off by the vacuum cleaner. This is very helpful near plastic trim etc. as it doesn’t scratch those materials (Fur-zoff would scratch plastic trim badly). The thing I figured using all these is, while the car vacuum and rubber brush are essential items in the cleaning, having this Fur-zoff is not really essential compared to other two. I’ve also removed the plastic handle on this (as the pics attached will show) to make it much more flexible. There were couple of screws that needed to be unscrewed to get the rubber only brush out. That will probably void the warranty but would you really claim the warranty in an item like this? When the rubber brush is separated it’s very flexible and easy to use in hard to reach places like under the seats. The handle is too high to be used under normal car seats. Pros: - Easy to remove hard to vacuum off pet hair on wooly carpets - Can be used near plastic and other material trims - The handle can be removed (probably void warranty) to make it flexible and use in hard to reach places Cons: - Non I could think of. Great way to clean hard to remove pet hair from carpets. Do click ‘Yes’ if this review helped you in anyway, thanks!

Fur Fighter
This is basically a large rubber brush with robust rubber bristles (not sharp) and a very comfortable design. I tested it out on my cats' favorite spots, which are normally just covered with fur, no matter what I do. First, this is easy to use. Just rub it back and forth and collect fur. The fur doesn't slide down into the brush, but instead collects along one edge where you can pluck it off without trouble. The bristles are entirely flexible, but still very thick and IMHO are never going to bend or break off. This is not a flimsy gizmo. Did it take off the fur? Yes. Mostly. It worked better than the sticky rollers, and also better than the white & red clothing brush (the one that feels like velcro). I've been trying everything possible on my cats' fur....this works as well as anything and much better than most.

I love the rapid results
I have dogs and cats. No matter how many times I ask them to hold onto their fur until we can get the brushing completed, they shed all over -- even more after grooming. So in no time at all, everything has a fur coat. Before it became necessary to put carpet treads on the stairs, daily cleaning was pretty easy. But once Rita developed a medical condition which made it difficult for her to manage the steps safely, I had to resort to carpet treads to assure her footing. She loves those treads and so does her hair, and Gretta's and Mongo's and Blackie's. I've seen these brushes in various forms before but hadn't considered buying one just for the steps. they looked like a gimmick. And yet, I finally did buy this one and I love it. Make no mistake, I'm overjoyed to have this brush to use on the stairs. I'd rather clean the stairs while on my knees going from the 1st to the 2nd floor than use a vacuum which is awkward, time consuming, and lacking in positive results. For the flat surface rugs, I'm buying one with a handle. Previously I had purchased a cordless hand vac to do those steps but it simply required too many passes for not great results. This brush gets all the hair in a minimum of passes (it isn't that wide) and leaves the step treads looking and feeling clean (and ready to be vacuumed as needed without all the emptying and clogging.) If you have bare wood stairs, you can manage but if your stairs are carpeted and you have hairy pets, give this one a try as long as you don't mind being on your knees. I can actually brush the carpeted treads clean in less time than it used to take me to clean the bare wood treads. This is a great way to make vacuuming easier. Although it means an entirely different first step, it also means that you'll spend less time with better results by making a brush pass first.
