B1 Standard Stainless Steel Safety Razor, 100 g

Have a feather AS-D2. Know how to use a double edge razor. Large selection of different blades. This IKON isn’t for me. Each time I use it, I exsanguinate quite a bit!! Now when I use it, I tremble, which makes things worse! It is however beautifully made and a joy to handle. The Feather remains my daily shave, and I’ll use the IKON when I need an adrenaline rush, which, as a middle aged man, isn’t very often.

Easy to use but demands finesse and a hand well used to D.E. shaving. Definately not for beginners to the art because it's very aggressive. The blade is obvious to the skin and while feels like a Gillette Tech, any deviation of good technique is punished. Not for the faint hearted.Build quality is as good as a Feather ASD2 and Rockwell 6S and it's cheap for a top notch 316L Stainless Steel razor.
