Cheapest offering of the Sony 1000MX3 and you get a bag !
Very odd. When I went shopping for these there were several for sale. These however were the same item and cheaper and it comes with a dust bag!So what's good and whats not?FITMENT: These fit really well. I have a pair of Airpods and they fit much better than those or the new Apple Airpod Pro's. These are super snug and feel like they will stay put all day. There are other offerings out there but in my opinion these are the best fitting earbuds I've ever tried. Better than Bose Soundports or Cambridge Melomania !SOUND: First off CODEC's ... The Sonys support SBC and AAC codecs, but there’s no aptX HD Bluetooth for people with a compatible smartphone. In terms of reference materials ... I always use India Arie as I know this album like the back of my hand and know where all the bass and treble and details points should be. I listened to that album end to end and couldn't fault these buds. Even up against some of the headphones I've got and used like Grado RS1's or Bose or M&G. The sound off these are excellent. They are a lot better than Apple's new PRO offering (Yes I did go to the apple shop on the morning of 31/October ... but can't post a review until Amazon release them on 15November). The bass is so smooth and natural and doesn't have that over reverb that earbuds tend to have. It's all very natural and to be honest very hard to distinguish from over the ear headphones. Excellent is the only word.CONNECTIVITY: Sony make a big thing about lip-synching being improved when watching video on your phone but to be honest at this price point I don't know of any headphones or earbuds that have this issue. Sony also say that the Bluetooth linking is done by both earbuds. Well enough of what Sony say ... what I can tell you is my test is to wander around Liverpool street Station in London and see how things do there. With thousands of people and a lot of them with devices and headphones I find that a lot of products skip and miss in their song replay because of the massive levels of interference. These didn't. Not once did I get a song cut out or anything similar. They worked beautifully again.CONTROLS: I'm not a fan of this trend of making the sides of buds and headphones touch sensitive. However if you don't mind then Sony do it best. I'm saying that when compared to B&O X9 series headphones ... which is awful. Nope Soy do a very good job ... but here's an odd thing. Left ear is playback cancelling and ambient noise reduction or noise cancelling and right ear is playback .... but .... there's no volume control!!! So you have to use your phone or playback device ... how did Sony miss that? Imagine in the gym ... on the treadmill and your phone is in the bag next to you. You have to stop to up the volume !!!! Sony ... what were you thinking???DURATION: Lastly battery duration ... it's good. Noise cancelling will half your battery time though. Including the charge in the plugs and the case you get 24 hours. Buds by themselves are 6 so you get the rest from charging with the case. Apple are 5 hours and 19 from the case. Melomania is 9 from the buds and 4 charges from the case giving a total 44hours !!!! So nearly double. I'm not going to mark it down though as I've never needed more that 24 hours plus I have a portable battery to charge my phone, ipad and case. So who needs it ? not me.VERDICT: Possibly the best earbuds to date ever and definitely would get my money before the Earpod Pro's.

Very good sound and quality
I looked at a number of wireless headphones before settling on these Sony's, and I'm very happy with my choice. Excellent sound quality, battery life seems good and the noise cancelling seems to work pretty well. There's also a good selection of earbud adapters to find the perfect fit for your ears. Dropped a star because they can work a little bit loose when I'm walking, but it's a minor gripe really.

Terrible fit to the ear
I bought these earphones as I wanted a wireless earphone with the sound effects of all the rave reviews I've heard of the sony WH-1000XM3.On receiving this product I was impressed by the general look of the charging case and was excited to try the new product out. The product comes with various earbuds to place on the earphones so tried them all to find the best fit. When sitting and placing in your ear the sound is initially much better than the airpods I've been using and all the various noise cancelling features worked to an OK level BUT within a very short period of time you can feel the earbuds starting to work loose from your ear which then has a dramatic effect on the noise quality and makes the noise cancelling useless. I then went for a short walk and this is where the earphones just become an annoyance in that you are constantly trying to reposition them in your ear before they fall out, mainly due to the weight of the earbud itself. If you are considering buying these earphones please make sure you look at the returns policy so you can return easily if you experience the same issue with the buds constantly falling out.
