Perfect size! Worked great for about 6 months the started breaking the tips of the pencils off whole sharpening. Thought it was because of cheap pencils or needed new batteries. Changed batteries and used high end pencils and still had the same problem. I will now be buying a new sharpener for the next school year. It did get us through one school year though.

Quality sharpener at the perfect price - Highly recommended
I really was expecting some cheap sharpener that would break within minutes but, I was completely wrong. This little pencil sharpener has exactly what you're looking for. Small, light, and powerful. I do a lot of drawing and artwork and to date, this sharpener has yet to fail me. My only complaint is that it did take me a few minutes to figure out where the batteries went in so it could come with better instructions. Other than that, this is a perfect sharpener no matter if its on your desk at home or in your pack back running from class to class. Quality and price are perfect.Highly recommended.

Wouldn't purchase again
This works well, however it is very difficult to install the batteries and get the cover back on. It fits so tightly I wasn't able to do it and my husband had to do it, but he struggled also. It won't operate without the battery cover installed perfectly. I wouldn't buy this again.

Battery installation could be better
The battery compartment is not well marked + or - so positioning the batteries (not included) is a little hit or miss, otherwise it sharpens well, there is good torque so make sure to hold the sharpener tightly in one hand.

Works good initially, but blade wore out quickly.
Price was nice and worked well at first, but blade wore out fairly quickly (after a few months).

It's an okay purchase...
You get what you pay for. The sharpener works well had a few minor issues but other than that it works and it's easy to store.

Sharper than SHARP!!!
Just got this and put the batteries in. Even as a kid I wanted my pencils sharper than others. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!It makes a point that is a point and not a dull point like a dart, very sharp.Not sure how long this will last, no idea about durability but because it gets my pencils so sharp I had to post a review!!!
