[Rhino] TM Red Heavy Duty Rugged Impact Hybrid Case with Build in Kickstand Protective Case for Samsung Tablet Galaxy Tab 3 7.0-inch P3200

I purchased this case for my son's Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. He's 7 and a bit clumsy at times. The ruggedized feel and design of the tablet is great. He's dropped it a few times, and there haven't been any problems with the device or case that I've noticed so far. I have 2 issues however that make this 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. There are some design flaws. I don't know if I received a defective case or if they are all made this way, but I cannot fit any headphones into the jack. The hole for it is a bit too small. It can go in part way, but not all the way so the only way to listen with headphones on is to completely remove both parts of the case. Not only is this difficult and time consuming it defeats the purpose of having a "ruggedized" case for a little boy. Another issue is we cannot access the MicroSD card slot without having to remove the entire case. There is an opening for it on the side, but it is not cut correctly to match the placement on the Galaxy Tablet so it is partially covered. Same type of problem that the headphone jack has. You have to completely remove both cases to access the port for the MicroSD card. I'd like to exchange this unit for another one that is designed correctly. If these are specific problems with my case and can be replaced with one that is cut correctly I will definitely change my star rating given that this product is great.

Two issues, one big, one small.1. you can't access the MicroSD card slot with the case on. There's no way around this. I apparently swap the cards out a bit more than most users, because I have many movies downloaded on my PC, and it's a lot quicker to download those to an SD card on the laptop than connect the tablet to the laptop and transfer movies.2. The case arrived fully assembled, but without instructions.I wrestled my Tab 3 into it without incident, but then realized that the screen protector (bought separately) couldn't be installed on the Tab 3 while this case was already on it.I had to disassemble the case, which wasn't too difficult, but because there were no instructions it was a little tense.The rubber cover comes right off and the black plastic case under it is actually in two pieces, which can be carefully (!) pried apart without damage. I wouldn't rely on doing this too often, because the plastic tabs don't look all that sturdy.

This works but not for me. It has a dohickey on the back that allows the tablet to sit upright and is great when I am watching tv from it in my home office. This cover has a hard shell that fits around the back and sides of my tablet but the glass front goes unprotected. There are those that have smart phones & tablets with no protective case and they are fine. I am not one of these people. I drop my phone at least once a day and I thought my tablet would be different, but it isnt. If I use it, I will usually drop it. (I have 3 dogs, 2 Great Danes and a Beagle/Jack Russell; my hands are usually full when walking & I am typically clumsy).

Has protected tablet from falls. Back stand broke off after a month but I expected that due to reading other reviews. It fit o.k. The opening for the additional sd storage doesn't line up with this protector. You would have to take the whole thing off to get the sd card in. Other reviews said they had trouble getting the protector on the tablet, you have to pull the red rubbery part off then pull the black section apart in two pieces then snap it together over the tablet. Then put the red part over all of it. For the price it is working for us.

This is a very inexpensive case and I've come to learn why. While it may get the job done as far as protecting your tablet from damage, a job it does quite well, I do have my gripes with the product. For one the kickstand is very flimsy and cheaply constructed. I had it the case just over a couple weeks and it has already broken. Its not too big of a deal but the product is advertised as having a "built it kickstand" so I would expect better from it. In addition, when the case is on your device it can be difficult to plug in speakers or other devices into the head phone jack because of the case itself. Overall, this is a decent case probably best suited for parents who want a more inexpensive option to protect their kid's devices and for that purpose this product does well.

Excellent case for a child. I bought this case for my 5yr olds Galaxy 3 tablet. 2 years later it is still in excellent condition and has protected the tablet from many drops & falls. It is difficult to initially put the case on, but in my opinion it protects it better and he can't get it off. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the kickstand broke off with in a few days. I would definitely buy this again.

It fits, best used for kids.. I enjoyed it. The only issue I have is that once you put the case on, it covers the access door for the micro USB card.. but how often does anyone really REALLY pull it out? It is just something I noticed. Other than that, it fits well and it's pretty decent and comparable to a Trident case. But considering I don't need that kind of level of protection from a Trident, this was a great purchase.

Cheap case but it does what it is suppose to do. Most cables fits this case but not all. In the item's defense, the cable was a pretty wide cable. I bought this tablet for a child and it does what it is suppose to do. The stand is a little cheap and doesn't hold up the tablet upright very well but other than that, decent case.
