Deserves 5 stars from me
So overall I think these are really good interior lights if you want that kind of look in your car, and would definitely recommend these to someone looking for some. Heres my experience with them so far. When it comes to installing them they are fairly easy to install, the hardest part of putting them up (for me) was finding a spot for them under my dash and seats, since in my truck, the only flat semi-hidden spot was on my front passenger side. As well as finding a way to route the wires to keep them hidden. Otherwise if you know good spots to put the light bars and know how to run the wires so they aren’t in the way, its a simple install that might only take an hour or so (maybe even less) depending on your vehicle. However, the next day after initially putting them up, I ended up hardwiring them into my ignition power and ran a custom switch to the dash so I can just easily turn them on and off with the truck accessory or when its running. Obviously this voids the warranty so I shouldn’t say it’s recommended to hardwire them unless you know how to work with the wiring and know that if they break you most likely wont get a new set without having to buy them again. This being said, they still work great even after the hardwiring and I haven’t ran into any issues. They seem pretty solid however it seems if too much force is put on the wires by accident they may try to pull out of the light bars slightly (one of mine sorta did this, but not enough to cause any issues)They also come with pretty much everything you should need to mount them up, this includes screws and zip ties. For me the adhesive worked great for everything but my front driver side, but quickly screwing the bar up did the trick. This most likely will depend on your vehicle and the materials used in them.In terms of brightness, my photos were taken during the daylight and depending on the color/s you use they seem to be pretty bright even when its light outside, and at night they show up even better, as you would assume they would.I would say my only issue I could see with these is that it seems they are made to go into a vehicle that has a center console with a cigarette lighter inside of it or near it to easily plug in and hide your wires away. My truck however does not have this, so my initial install had to have the wires running under my middle seat and then up into my lower cigarette lighter. Not a big deal if you don't mind it, but I wasn’t a huge fan of it myself. So far these definitely deserve 5 stars from me, they have many more pros than cons (and I wouldn’t say they have really any cons). If you’re looking for good interior lights that have addressable abilities, I would recommend giving these a try.

Not bad
My husband bought these for our Accord. Thought it was silly but they’re actually pretty cool. Easy to use. Came with a remote but works with Bluetooth as well which is easy to connect. Easy to set colors and effects. Good gift option.

Easy light-show in your car!
Was looking for interior led strip lights for my 2016 Cruze for awhile and decided on these for price and features. Govee seems like a reputable brand and you can tell they care about quality because the overall build of the led strips, controller, remote, and the cigarette lighter plug are very well made. I did however ended up hardwiring them into my Cruze and overall took me about an hour or so due to wire management and running them around the inside. The kit does include screws and zipties for a more secure hold wherever you decide to mount them as well as 3M automotive adhesive tape already applied on the back of each strip (I recommend before you peel the backing off the tape and mount them to take some time and wipe down your desired location with some alcohol/wipes to give the adhesive a better hold). I ended up removing the adhesive tape and using my own that gives a better hold on rough roads than Govee’s. They say you can’t hardwire them, but if you snip the wire you’ll be able to see positive and negative wires encased in the main black line, if you’ve done your own work with head units or speakers this shouldn’t be too hard, I personally went this route to keep a cleaner look and still have access to my port for my charger/lighter. All you need is a tap-a-fuse and maybe some extra wire for the ground if there is no spot near fuse box. As to which fuse you can tap into will depend on you and your car, on my Cruze I tapped into my PRNDL illumination fuse so lights turn on when key is turned and off when removed. I do suggest you look under your dash mainly at where your pedals are to make sure any loose wire won’t get pinched or caught during driving, and make use of those zip ties too! Once installed, I noticed that these strips are EXTREMELY BRIGHT, I do have a black interior so I would assume they’ll be bright in grey/tan interiors. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE MANUAL so you know which buttons on the included remote do what, I had to search online after i tossed the instructions out but figured it out eventually. If you have a great sound system in the car, then the sound reactive feature will be great show for you, in my car it’s kind of a hit & miss, it does react to my voice and music if it’s loud enough, but I can say that mic on the controller itself is very sensitive and will pickup all sounds easily, however I’m not a fan of the sound/music reaction so I downloaded the Govee app and was surprised with how well it’s designed and found it easier to control the lights from my phone then using the included remote, even has different “scenes” or effects the lights will go through, and you even have the ability to create your own light show. I left mine on rainbow because it looks pretty cool cycling through all colors at night. Don’t worry, those with sensitive eyes you can tone the the brightness up or all the way down in app or with the remote/controller. Overall they are very great looking lights and a solid build. Install was fairly easy and probably easier for someone else who will probably use the cigarette lighter plug instead, and the light shows in my car are pretty awesome. I suggest you take your time, lay everything out to make sure enough wire is able to reach your desired locations and if you decide to hard wire then watch a few videos on how to if you’re not familiar and of course make sure to GROUND. Also test a bit of the adhesive to see if it will stick to your interior as different cars plastics are terrible at getting anything to stick to the surface, best to make use of the included zipties and mounting screws.
