Columbia Women's PFG Freezer III Dress

I am an almost plus sized gal. I generally wear between a 14 and 16. My measurements are proportional, but it is obvious I have had children and I have a tummy bulge. I put on this dress and all the flaws disappear! The length is slightly shorter than I usually wear. I am 5"6 and I take up some length via being full busted as well. I am not sure if I will wear this to work in the summer, but I loved it enough to buy a second and will definitely use it for work with leggings and a sweater in the fall/winter.I will also use it like crazy for just about everything in the summer! Very slenderizing fit, fits well even if you are full busted. I ordered the XL. More colors please in this very versatile and flattering dress! Red? Coral? Deep purple?I had to come back and edit my review. I just bought my third!!! I travel for work. I can wear this dress as a slip, as a nightgown, as a dress under a nice jacket, it is smooth enough to wear as a "tank" under a skirt, and even over black leggings with a cute sweater or jacket! It belts easily, It washes in the sink and dries in a couple of hours. My very favorite way to wear it, other than just on its own, is with a double layer silk sari skirt worn as a jacket!! I am a tiny bit afraid that it will pick or pill over time, but so far so good. I would NOT machine wash or dry it, it is not necessary and I think it would degrade the fabric. I read the stellar reviews and was thinking to myself "yeah....well not on this saggy, lumpy body..." but decided to try anyway. I mean really, if a dress can transform a sad old boomer into a gleeful super model, it's got to be somehow magical or has supernatural powers of some sort, right?! I'll throw $20 at that glimmer of hope any day!I'm here to tell ya, I don't know how this dress does it, but the fat lumpy areas are somehow transformed, my grey hair is bouncy and blonde again, and my wrinkles have disappeared!But seriously folks.... this Columbia dress has a cut that is a magical formula to somehow look great on a wide variety of sizes and shapes! I'm 5'7" tall, wear a 14-16 blouse (38DD) and have a chubby ice cream sundae belly and when I put this dress on, I could not believe how great it looked! I bought the XL and it's a 'perfect fit'. No gaping armholes, no saggy neckline, no pulling across the hips. It just sort of floats past the uglies, not clinging to and accentuating them. It's a modest length, super lightweight but not see thru. Can be dressed up or down.So buy one already!! Everyone deserves to feel this stunning!

It honestly not as expected. I was surprised of the shiny material. I will keep and give as a gift.

Please, dear Columbia, make these in more solid colors!!!(Green?!?!) I’m not a palm tree gal, but I love the solids! The red is lovely (not fire engine hot), the navy and black are easily dressed up or down and very attractive. The pantry line is a bit more noticeable in the darker aqua. The arm hole is slightly large, but this dress IS incredibly cool and dries in s FLASH! Great for travel. Amazing for hot weather! I purchased the XL to accommodate my tummy—it’s a flattering style and falls nicely.

I love the material. I got one in navy and iy fit perfectly. Then I orderd the black. It is too small. unfotunately I missed the return by a few days and now I'm stuck with a dress that's too small. I wish I could return it.

This dress fits well and is true to size. I generally wear a 12-14 in dresses and the XL is a little big. The material has a sheen to it and it dries almost immediately. I have been wearing this nonstop this summer. It is flattering and comfortable.

This is super thin fabric, which it probably has to be to be “cool.” However, it is so clingy that it showcases every single lump and roll. If you’re young and thin, this may work for you. Or if you wear shapewear with it, but then it’s not cool anymore is it?

This is a perfect summer dress it's cool and light.It is drapes perfectly.I am 5'4 and a size 12 the XL was perfect for me. I bought it in black and the flower pattern I wear I everywhere ❤️
