Old Dutch International 876 Old Dutch Ice Bucket, Copper, 3 quart

I replaced this ice bucket with a brass one that I loved, BUT the finish was chipping on the inside of the bucket. That meant that those chipped pieces were getting into the ice. Gross! I chose this copper one because it matched a tray that I had. When the ice bucket arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the finish. There is a plastic insert for the ice so the ice is actually never touching the bucket. There is also a little drain tray at the bottom of the insert so you never have watery ice. I'm very happy with my purchase!

This is the only” Hammered Copper Ice Bucket” I could find online. I love that hammered copper look. I drink out of copper all day. I love it. I have so many hammered copper cups around here, I probably look more like a Viking instead of a Pirate. I recommend my friend. EDIT: Five stars! Not only did the replacement ice bucket come with the tongs, but the interior bucket was better than the original! Instead of being a plain liner bucket, it has a water-catcher section for the meltwater. I couldn't be more pleased! I just opened my new ice bucket, and t's stunningly beautiful but falls short of expectations because it arrived without the tongs. If the seller can fix the problem, this will become a 5 star review.

I ordered this with some trepidation because some of the reviews were so negative. But others were extremely positive, so I took a chance. And am very pleased! It's a very attractive ice bucket and the accompanying tongs are substantial and pretty (and for some reason fascinated my old cat. I had to fight to get them back!) This is a remarkably fine item for the price and I'm sooo glad I took a chance on it! Thank you, Amazon! You came through like gangbusters!

The ice bucket itself is good and quite nice looking but the ice tongs are horrible. They are scratched, tarnished in spots, and look used. I need the bucket for Christmas so I cannot return it, but I do believe I should receive new ice tongs!

Really nice looking and well made. The plastic bucket inside keeps the ice for a long time and the tray in the bottom keeps the water off the ice. I wanted a small bucket for bourbon nights with the buds and it is good without being too fancy.

This ice bucket is absolutely gorgeous and a complete shame that it came in such rough shape and doesn't operate well. It has a white plastic liner on the inside that came dirty as if it was used. The tongs were worn on the ends. The bucket itself was scratched. And the worst part was when you open the lid the whole liner comes with it. I'm not about to put something out for my guests and have them decipher how to make it work. So disappointed!
