Thermophore Moist Heating Pad Size: Petite

My doctor recommended moist heat for my shoulder discomfort and most heating pads are not "moist" heat. This moist heat heating pad is perfect for the area between the neck and shoulder, draping down the shoulder blade. It is thin so there is no problem sitting against a chair or couch. I am thinking it would be great for travel as well do to being so compact. I really like this product.

I own 4 or 5 of this company’s heat pad. All produce plenty of heat. This small heat produces very little heat. It has no benefit in reducing pain so I don’t use it. I should have returned it. Recommend not buying this small heat pad.

Heat does not get nearly as hot as the one I bought 4-5 years ago. I'm sitting on the switch here hoping it gets really hot and I could sit on it all day it would not get hot enough. Might as well just make an "On" button!

I’ve been using Battle Creek heat pads for more than ten years to ease severe painful spasm from spine damage—one of the few things that helps. Unfortunately, the quality of the workmanship seems to have lessened. I also didn’t notice that the controls on the model I bought are from the older version, which you turn on by holding a lever down. This releases if you fall asleep, letting your hand open—a safety feature. I meant to order the newer model, which is hands-free, and allows you to set the temperature and length of time, and turns off automatically after 20 minutes. This doesn’t heat as quickly or as much as the ones I had in the past. I could have returned it, but my old one had died; and I didn’t want to wait. Now, after a month of use, it barely gets hot.

I purchased this heating pad through this seller because they used the images of the classic model, which I expected to receive. However, the heating pad that arrived was the newer version that barely gets warm. Will be returning promptly. Shame on you.

The first one made a "pfzzt" sound the moment I plugged it in, but the manufacturer quickly replaced it - no questions asked and I liked it so much I bought one to have handy for each bedroom. Better for sore muscles than medication!

Doesn't get that warm which is the biggest concern, but oddly, you have to hold down the on button to keep it on. I used the zip ties that came with it to just tie it down, but an annoying design feature. Overall quality seems low for. the price.
