Q: Can torque be adjusted on this by reducing air or have adjustments on it

Nope, it’s an air tool, but I use torque controlled deep sockets to control the torque. There’s also short sockets that are torque control but not regular short sockets, most nuts requiring torque need the space for the torque to be applied.

Q: How do you connect the airline? The inlet on the tool has a cover that only spins and doesn't seem like it comes off.

I assume u mean the black plastic plug that's installed at factory to keep debris out,pop that out and screw in correct air connector plug for coupler size u use, and always use pneumatic tool oil on first use to help prolong life of tool

Q: What's the smallest compressor needed

It probably would work fine with a10-15 gal as long as it's intermittent use as with any impact long use needs the air behind it.I run 60 gal 230 v and it works great ,but I'm sure smaller compressor would do fine. .it's a excellent tool I really like it. Very powerful especially for the diy'er

Q: is max torque the same for both sizes?

The torque is the same but 1/2 inch gun work better on bolts
