Speedo Kids' Begin to Swim Fins

These are nice because they are lightweight. My daughter loves wearing them. But, because they're lightweight, they do wear out fairly quickly. I have to keep her from trying to walk outside of the pool with them on and they're starting to fray at edges after just a couple of months. But, I don't see any work around. Lightweight means they're easy to use but won't hold up for long.

My 5 yr old son loves these. He used them during June/July this year. I think they help grow his leg muscles and understand better how to swim. However the edges are torn and it does not look nice now although functioning still properly. It's strange since my son used them only in the water.

My son has worn these about 6 times and they are already falling apart. The neoprene is splitting at each side of the toes on one pair and under the heel on the other pair, where the soldi part of the fin ends.They also tend to slip off his feet when kicking on his back, no matter how much I tighten velcro strap.I had high hopes as Speedo is a good brand and I liked how lightweight they are, but I'll be buying him a different pair from a different brand.

I think this are great starter fins for toddler. It helped my kid learned to get some good kicks. It was a bit awkward the first few use, but eventually she liked it and depended on it to swim across the long pool.

I bought them and loved them, they stay on my kids feet and are very light. However they hardly survived a season, already the top layer is detaching and they are holes on the bottom ;(

My swimming students love these fins ... though they don't last very long ... the material breaks down quickly when they push off the wall ... too bad they can't be made to last longer.

I bought these on the recommendation of our swimming instructor, to help my 3 year old build more leg muscle and stronger kicks. What a great product! My son loves them. I read the reviews about them breaking down and I have had no issues with that -- but it could be because our instructor puts them on my son in the pool, so he is not walking on them on any hard surfaces. Highly recommend this product.

My 4 year old loves these. The only qualm I have is that if your kiddo. Wears them around the pool, on cement, they get roughed up and tear along the edges right quick. Despite this, they still work perfectly.
