Collected Works of Ramana Maharshi

I liked this beautiful collection of various writings by Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. These are messages and guidelines help any serious seeker of Truth. Heart touching, an inner journey to reach the Heart.

This is a great book. Really anything said or written by the great sage is superb, but these also include his translations of other great works including that of Shankaracharya. I've read many of Maharshi's books (published by disciples) and there is a lot of overlap from read to read; I found this one last and if I had to do it all over again, maybe I'd make this the first and only one to peruse, it's that good. And at $2.99, what a deal!

Good as it gets. Enough said. And the fact that Sri Ramana Maharshi checked and edited it prior to publication makes this the pennicle of all spiritual texts 🙏

This book is beyond stars. Osborne's presentation of Maharashi's teachings of self enquiry render the mind silent, bringing awareness into blissful conscioussness. I had watched many youtube video's about Ramana in the past few years, especially the past two weeks. Reading this book provides a deeper level of quiessence to mind. Thank you Ramana and Arthur. Suffering is grace, as we are all one.

The book starts with some written works by Sri Ramana Maharshi but then continues with translations of ancient texts. Some of the texts are enjoyable but others are dragging. I believe reading is to be enjoyed, not enforced, so i skipped some translations. Regardless there is some wisdom in this book to ingest. Maybe not everyone will enjoy the translations and maybe some will find there exactly what they are looking for. Also keep in mind that the sage was a silent teacher. So there isn’t too much content available from him besides these writings

They say every hundred years a great spiritual light is born on earth to remind and show man his spiritual goal. Ramana Maharshi was that beacon of Light. After lifetimes of spiritual practice He reached spiritual perfection and enlightenment at age sixteen. Very rare are writings and first hand accounts of a spiritual master of this magnitude. Just reading his words stirs something deep inside of you. Totally selfless and egoless His main goal? To help man find out WHO and WHAT he really is and the simplest way to achieve it no matter what religious background you come from.

A bit heady, but simply superb. I dare you to read it.

One of the most inspiring books I've ever read.

This beautiful book complements well Sri Ramana Maharshi's key work on Self Enquiry "Be As You Are: The Teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi". Sri Ramana's message shines throughout the pages: it is only when you think of the world that the world exists.....and it is only when thoughts arise that pain and anguish arise too. Abide in the Self and all else follows....Love, Peace, Unity. The book gives further insight into the Practice of Self Enquiry too, something of great value to a reader ready to follow what is often described as the direct path to Truth. A beautiful book highly recommended.
