The ability for this to close up while I’m in it is disturbing!
I lost my ability to walk in February on 2020 so using a wheelchair is very new to me. I knew I wanted a power chair after using a manual one in physical rehabilitation. It aggravates the arthritis in my hands and wrists to operate a manual chair. I did a fairly quick search on power chairs and chose this one because it can fold up and be portable as long as there is someone with me who can lift 70 lbs. I frequently, almost daily walk my dog using this power chair. If I accidentally hit a curb or if one of the front wheels goes in a ditch the chair will fold up on me and it is very difficult to open it back up while sitting in it! I’ve ended up in some pretty sticky situations with this happening. At least I’ve learned what to look for when it’s time to get another chair.

Great wheelchair specially made for big people
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I wish I could give this product 10 stars. I did a lot of research and always came back to the same question, is this powerful and made well enough for someone who weighs 300 lbs? My husband is tall 6'2" and weighs 280 - 300 lbs. His mobility is impaired due to congestive heart failure, meaning he can walk a bit but more than 25 feet is a problem. Most of the electric wheelchairs had weight limits of 260 lbs, and did not seem strong enough to hold up to heavy use. We travel so something we could pack along with us and use at our destination was required. We need to be able to take it on a plane. I also needed it to be folding and not so heavy that I could not manage it to get it into and out of the car for him. After much debate, we ordered this one. Here is our experience: Came quickly and packaged very well in good packing. It ships folded. There was no booklet available so I hoped for the best and took it out. I unfolded it although I really think a paper telling you about it would be helpful. It appeared to come with no instructions. I texted the number that was on the packing slip and they texted back quickly. (very good response) The paperwork and booklet is found in the pouch under the chair. That give you the instructions on how to remove it from the box, and how to unfold it. (too late) Everything else was pretty easy to follow along and assemble with the instructions. We plugged it in and charged it. It was easy for my husband to get into, the footrest folds upward and it is also used as a handle when the chair is folded. We expected it to work well on pavement and very small inclines. While they supplied a video on their website showing it working on grass, the video showed much lighter people so we were realistic about the possibility that grass would be a problem. I have provided a video that show my husband zooming all over our acre of yard through the grass including some steep inclines that were quite a bit steeper than the inclines they mentioned, without any problem. On pavement, it goes and can go quite fast. The batteries never seem to go down, we used it many times before we finally decided it had been over a week of use and it still showed plenty of power so we charged it anyway. I did get a dog ramp (much cheaper than a wheelchair ramp) so I could ride one wheel up into the car when the chair was folded. I could lift the 60 lbs, but the plastic dog ramp just guided it up and down in and out of the car folded, and since my husband can get in the car himself without the chair, the folding dog ramp was light and cheap.PRO:--handles a 300 lb man easily, even on grass and small hills--easy to fold and take with you - batteries removable for planes--can be used as a regular wheelchair and pushed if necessary--very sturdy and well built--has a very tight turning ratio so it can almost spin on its axis to tightly turn if you need to--easy to disengage and engage the back wheels to push the chair (You do have to turn off the power for this to work - they forgot that in the instructions, we figured it out)--it stays put and does not roll at all if the power is on (even if you disengage the wheels) so no fear of it rolling away on you--There is a fairly large storage pouch under the chair for cords/tools and valuables.CONS:--The chair is plenty wide, but my husbands weight is belly weight, not sure how well it would work for someone with the same weight but very wide hips.--A 6'2" the foot rest is not adjustable and my husband's legs are a bit folded up, although he does not find this to be a problem.--The joystick is sensitive and takes some practice to steer it correctly.--The speed control is separate, so if you are zooming down the road and then go into somewhere that requires a slower speed, you have to adjust the speed separately.--You have to turn off the power to engage the wheels to roll or move the chair manually--While the arms rests are very secure and my husband uses them to boost himself up out of the chair, the controller is on the end and if you weren't careful, I could see you breaking it off if you were not careful to have your hands placed on the actual chair arms. (the controller comes off easily - you just have to be careful)This chair is all we wanted and it works so well for my husband. It is expensive but it is well worth the money and I am very happy with the purchase.

Has enough power.
When the wheelchair was unpacked it would not unfold without great effort. Then would not fold. The battery box support arm was welded to be in the path of folding and unfolding. This could not have happened in shipping so this was defective when shipped. I fixed it myself. The wheelchair will not run more than a few feet on gravel. The wheels are not the right size to allow it to move over loose gravel. However the wheelchair steers and moves well and has plenty of power and distance. We charge it about once a month and takes about four / five hours more or less. We have white blended floor tiles and the wheels leave no marks turning or moving around the house. If you need to change the controls from the right side to the left side you need to buy some black electrical tye wraps as you will have to cut some and rewrap to move the control station to the left for left handed use. Once set up it works and drives well. Would recommend this product.

Good product-but BEWARE!
We have had and used this for eight months. It works great. I recommend it. However, be aware that it comes with TWO 250 watt motors for a TOTAL of 500 watts, NOT two 500 watt motors as the misleading title implies.

Love it!
Love it. A little harder to put together, but not bad.
