Nice set, I'm not an expert carver but these work great for me, constructed well.

None of these were even close to being sharp

Been using them and they do the job well

Upon opening the package I found that there were several handles that had cracks in them. I assume the cracks are from the drying process. Several of the blades were bent and not sharp. The rings at the top which are decorative were very loose. If they were ever glued on I would be surprised. Not the best carving chisel set that I have seen.

These chisels look good on the photo, but.. once you get them the disappointment begins. Very crude, low quality of craftsmanship, ferules are moving, blades are machined like a kid actually produced them, there is no sharp edge whatsoever, handles aren't finished properly, there is sign of rust here and there. If one is okay with all of this one can go ahead and order this set. Otherwise stay away!

This is a decent chisel set with good selection of cutting edges, seems to be well made and should hold up to use over time. Does come with a roll up case to keep chisels separated from each other and organized

I work in oak, mostly, as an artist. This mallet is just the right size for the initial cut out on a project. Thanks for your attention to size and weight distribution. That makes a difference!

Looks and feels great. Great variety - only need some thinner chisels now

Really disappointed in these hand chisels, most of the chisels were blunt so had to sharpen before use, I guess you get what you pay for!

These are very nice but I have not used them as I just received them today. As soon as I do use them I will revise my review. For now I will say they look great ,came very quickly and were packed well enough. I hope when I use them that they are strong and sharp -- I'll let you know .They do look great for the price though. A 10 star from me for now.

Bought this to help with various carving projects. When they arrived they weren’t sharp. Have had a tough time getting and keeping an edge on them. One got a chip in it after a couple of passes in soft wood - not at all what should happen. Was hoping for a good set of woodworking tools that will last me a while. Not what I got. Usable but not good enough quality.
