newer style with vacuum is very secure
This hanger attaches firmly to the outside glass, and supports my bird thistle feeder. I used the email contact to ask about the instruction sheet, which shows removal of a film from the suction cup. The reply from China said the newer version uses vacuum, no film on the cups. Earlier versions were a simple press on suction cup, with film on the cups.An updated instruction sheet is needed. My hanger bought January 2022 has a knob on each suction cup. When turned while pressed, this creates a very strong vacuum. I tried to move it just now, and it is tight on the window. The only way to move it would be to loosen the vacuum knobs.

Design flaw...or manufacturing flaw ?
This product - which was not cheap (12 bucks for a small plastic hummingbird feeder 'handing hook') was bought due to excellent feedback on its sticking power - strong no-fail suction cups - but was a total dissapointment. It was bought with all the other elements for a feeding station - all which hang fine. But the hanger doesn't stick! My mechanical engineering son (setting it up for the grandchildren in their apartment) says the push mechanism isn't deep enough to create a tight vaccum and it doesn't hold to the window glass. The heavy feeding station bought parallel to this item doesn't move a milimeter! Don't know if this is a manufacturing flaw but I'm really pissed as this multi-part gift was delivered to Israel from the States as a 'big gift for big brother (5) and sister (8) to mark the arrival of their little baby brother into the family'. Can't reach the seller directly to complain so I'm posting my dissatisfaction here. I hope this is just bad luck, a dud in production and they can replace.

Enjoyable bird watching
Bought this bracket to hang a bird feeder from my window. I love it. The three suction cups hold tight via a dual mechanism; the suction of the cup itself and a screw down pressure valve on the cup. The kit comes with an alcohol swap to clean the window, once clean the suction cups easily sticks on. After positioning, there is a screw knob that tightens down each of the three cups. With the "S" hook was a bit larger as it doesn't quite hang freely from the top hole but it works. I have a large suet feeder hanging from mine but would easily hold a variety of different things. Thinking of purchasing a second one.

Melting Suction Cups
I have been pleased with the suction cup holder in general. It holds really well. I use it to hang a bird seed cake. FYI-- I just wanted to make you aware of one problem. I live in SC and it has been extremely hot.--9()'s for days in a row. I have it on the outside of a window of my sunporch. It is on an east window and It gets sun until about 1PM. The suction cups are slowly melting. When it melts it runs slowly down the window under the hanger. Fortunately it will wash off well with window cleaner .So far it has not effected the suction cups from staying in place on the window. I just thought the manufacturer would like to know that the materials used do not withstand high temperatures.

Heavy Duty
I use this window hanger to hang a Humming Bird feeder. I've used other window hangers with varying results but this one is unique in that it uses both really nice flexible suction cups and an adjuster to further suck the cups to the window. I've had it up for just over a month so my review is without long-term reliability testing but the design seems very good and has so far been great. Here's hoping.

Worked for 5 months only
Bought one and only lasted 5 months so I purchased another one thinking that it would last longer but lasted only one day, it’s clear is not made to last nor work. Never again.

Very fragile with poor suction
Easy to install and get all the suction cups attached to the bracket. I tightened down the cups on a clean glass outside and at first I just left it there without hanging our birdfeeder on it just to be sure it holds. After about 2 hrs when I came back to check it had fallen down and shattered in 2 pieces. It's very fragile so if it falls it is sure to break. I would have expected the suction cups to be much stronger.

Really Grips A Window!
I'm using this to hold a hummingbird feeder. While the feeder isn't full in this picture, it has been and can be quite substantial/heavy to hold. While other holders/hangers have slipped off, this one stays true. Love how you press the cups to expel air, then turn each cup starting from the top down to lock it in. Will buy another one.
