Hillsdale Molly Without Bed Frame Twin Headboard

I had been looking for headboards for my daughter's twin bed for 2 years. I finally decided to order the Hillsdale Molly in white...I had been thinking about it for a year. I was looking for an antique headboard, but it was going to be too much of a pain to find a handyman to retrofit one to a current bed frame. I was this headboard would be too cheap looking. Not at all -- it looks so beautiful in her bedroom. We have a 1930's house and it really works with the style of the home and her bedroom. I only wish we had a second twin bed that we could fit in her room -- two of them would look spectacular. I highly recommend this to anyone with designing/decorating on a budget.

Bought two of these for my girls' bedroom. I was concerned that because of the affordable price, they might look cheap. They are adorable and appear to be of high quality (we've only had them now for a few weeks, so I can't speak to how well they will hold up, but the paint finish is very nice and the metal itself is heavy and sturdy). It look me about ten minutes to open up the packaging and put the headboard together. I use mine with a frame I bought from Overstock that isn't compatible with headboards, so I can't speak to how well they align with a standard bed frame, as I just have them sandwiched between the wall and bed. I expect that they will look as nice as they do now for years to come. I like that they aren't too frou frou. They are super cute for a girl's room or guest room. I truly could not be more pleased with my purchase. Fast shipping too!

I bought 2 for a small lakeside vacation cottage bedroom that my 5 year old daughter and 3 year old neice share. They are perfect! Cute, not overly ornate - go perfect with the off white beadboard wallpaper I put up. Well made, easy to put together, and the price is amazing. One thing - the twin bed frames I bought have wheels and I think that is what threw off where the screw holes should have been to attach. The headboard kind of floats off the floor. Okay by me, though.

We bought this for our daughter's bedroom to add as a headboard for a twin bed. Installation was very easy and it looks nice for a young girls room. However the paint seemed to easily chip when putting it together. Overall I'm still fairly happy with the purchase, but would advise to be on the lookout for areas the paint may chip.

Update: We have now had these headboards for 11 years (my girls are now 14 & 15, still share the same bedroom), and they are still in PERFECT condition! Love them so much, they are still adorable for a teen girl room.These are GREAT headboards. We bought two of them for our two daughters that share a room (ages 3 and 4). They are adorable and were super easy to attach to our bed frames. And at this price, we feel like we got an awesome deal.

Attached easily to frame in ten minutes. Simple, clean, perfect for small bedroom. Was worried wouldn't be crisp white enough but looks good in room, not too off white. The twin size Shipped well considering they were not wrapped in bubble wrap and only in thin boxes. I also bought the same frame in full size and it had one metal slat that came slightly bent and scratched. I will touch scratch up with paint and my bedding shams will hide flaw, not going to return.

I like other customers (from reading reviews) was disappointed that I realized too late that this was just the headboard. If it's just the headboard then don't include the FOOTBOARD in the PICTURE because obviously I assumed (never assume I guess) that what is shown is what you are purchasing. Unfortunately for me I purchased 2!!! and I would never pay that much for one tiny piece of metal. I have been in the process of revamping my girls room so I missed the return window but it sounds like I would be paying for the price of one just to ship them back. Sad :(

I like this hewdboard. Easy assembly its sturdy enough. Its not iron its hollow. Perhaps a rough paint finish would improve appearance.

I needed to replace two ancient iron beds that didn't fit a true twin mattress. These headboards are the perfect replacement. Easy to assemble. Have the nice vintage style, while being new, fresh and solid. They look great.
