Make sure you take notice of the dimensions, because this book is rather tiny.The cards are business card size, and enough room for guests to leave a small message. The book then contains pages to place the cards, three per side. The pages remind me of a cheap photo album quality, but they appear to do the job.The cards themselves seem of average thickness, once again similar to a business card, and have words at the top that instruct the guest to write a wedding day wish for the couple, in a nice silver font.It might be easier display the book near the cards, laid out on a table. Then have a small basket for the guests to place the cards after they have written a message. This might reduce the risk of a tear to the book, and enable more people to write in a shorter amount of time.It is a creative idea to use rather than just a regular guest book, and gives people a chance to be more personal.

This is definitely different from the average guest book. It's like a little photo album, so that may turn off some brides, but I think the little cards for people to sign will result in something more than just a signature, and therefore something more meaningful to look back on. My only real issue with this guest book is that I wish there were more cards for the guests to sign. It is also a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I probably should have been expecting it since it is about 3 business cards high and 1 wide, but it still kind of surprised me.

I've ordered other Hortense B Hewitt items and always really like the quality. These are very nice and match my decor. the only thing i would say on the neg. side is I wish they were a little larger but it's my fault for not checking dimensions before hand. They will still work very well for my wedding reception.

The star of the wedding will be the couple not the wish cards, so these will do nicely. There will be so much more going on that who will notice what kind of card they are writing on? The book is fine because it wont even be out. We will instruct guests in the program to drop these in the gift card box, no worries. Great price and does the job.

The cards are good quality but the book doesn't seem to be too durable. I was planning on having guests place their cards in the books, but I think I'll play it safe and have a decorated jar for them to drop the cards in. I'll add the cards later.

It's smaller than expected like other reviewers said. The front cover was a little creased upon arrival, not the best quality for the price. I figure I'll do what others said and have people just put the cards in a cute bowl/basket. I will also probably decorate the front of it a little. More to hide the creased cover (don't feel like sending it back) and make it look a little fancier.

We used this for the "guest book" at our wedding. We wanted a way to encourage people to do more than just a signature and it worked! Our little book is full of sweet, sincere, funny, and silly wishes from those dear to us. People enjoyed having their own card to write down their thoughts; it felt more personal to them, and it feels more personal to us.

the book is lovely and the cards are great. i bought this for my daughters wedding and am sure she will love it..my daughter loved this book. The guests had enough time to write their messages and we avoided guest having to line up to sign the book as each guest had a card at their table.

Not quite what i thought. There is no plastic covering. The book can be easily soiled as it's only paper, no protection. Concept is good, but needs some tweaking. Not worth the price for what you get.
