I am extremely happy with the DenTek Professional-Fit Dental Guard. I’ve been dealing with nighttime teeth grinding for a long time, and this mouth guard has truly made a difference. The fitting process was simple and straightforward. I appreciated that it allows you to customize the fit at home, and once molded, it felt secure and comfortable in my mouth. After using it for several nights, I noticed a huge improvement. I wake up without jaw pain, headaches, or tooth sensitivity that I used to experience regularly. It stays in place all night and doesn’t feel bulky or irritating, which was a big concern for me. I was also impressed by the quality — it feels durable and well-made, especially for the price. Compared to expensive dental guards from the dentist, this is a fantastic and affordable alternative that actually works. Cleaning is easy, and it still maintains its shape after repeated use. If you grind your teeth at night or suffer from jaw discomfort, I highly recommend the DenTek Professional-Fit Dental Guard. It has definitely improved my sleep and overall comfort. Worth every penny.

Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend. I had no idea how uncomfortable my old night guard actually was until I got this one…what a world of difference! I am a grinder/clencher and a few years ago got a mouthguard from the dentist. That mouthguard no longer fit properly and had started coming apart. Not wanting to spend another $300 on a guard from the dentist, I looked at my options and found this. I was tentative, but I figured that for only $13 I was willing to give it a try. After three weeks of use, this will hands-down be my product moving forward. I found the home molding process to be very easy. I followed the instructions to a T and also watched a couple review videos. The most important suggestion I took away from those was to use your thumb to press up on the mouthguard at your front teeth before biting down with your molars to create the mold. The molding process overall took less than 20 minutes, and then it was ready for use. This is undoubtably the most comfortable night guard I’ve ever worn because of the Home molding. Because the materials keeps a little bit of flex to it, you not only get a very secure fit, but it also makes it a lot more comfortable for someone like me who clenches my jaw throughout the night. I imagine that softer material may be part of the reason this product doesn’t last as long as a professionally made mouthguard. That’s not a deterrent in my mind. even if I have to spend $13 every six months or so, it’s still less than the professional fit and much more comfortable!

I wake up with significantly less soreness or tooth sensitivity. * Value – At around $16, it’s a solid alternative to a custom guard that costs hundreds. The 6‑month warranty and BPA-free EVA material are nice bonuses. ⚠️ A Few Quibbles: * Tricky mold timing – My first mold was slightly off; I had to carefully follow the hot water timing and re-mold once. * Size & fit – It’s meant for upper teeth only, and people with smaller mouths might need to trim it beforehand. 🏁 Bottom Line: If you grind moderately and want dentist-level fit without the price tag, this DenTek guard is worth it. It’s comfortable, cost-effective, and does the job—just be patient when molding and trim if needed.

I hardly write reviews on Amazon, but after giving into ordering these because of this pandemic which limits my access to stores, I now know that I will never, even in the most desperate of times, buy Dentek products again. Now, I am someone who has been wearing dental guards for the last 5+ years. Due to stress and other issues, I mash my teeth at night so hard it wakes up my partner, and even me sometimes, due to the sound of grinding. So I have gone through various pairs of dental guards, they tend to last me about 6 months each, but if they fit comfortably and cause no disturbances in my sleep, I don't mind replacing them. Issue 1: Fit The first set of moldable dental guards I used were from Dentek, and I remember always hating how bulky they were because they did not allow me to close my mouth. On top of that, I would bite through them in less than 3 months. Thankfully, I have found other brands, usually pharmacy brands through Riteaid and Walgreens, that fit much better, are not bulky, last longer, and usually sell for two for the price of this one dentek! This time around I had sincerely hoped the experience would be different. It was not! I am a woman, and perhaps this product works better for men, still highly doubtful. But first of all, even though the product is molded in the same way as every other dental guard, it is much harder to get the right fit on the first try! Other great products have an additional piece that allows the user to widen or narrow the plastic holder depending on your mouth shape. This dentek product does not, meaning you are mostly forced to fit your mouth shape into the shape of the plastic holder with hardly any adjustments being possible. This meant that on my first try, the mold came out lopsided and when I closed my mouth, not only was the dental guard loose, only one side touched part of my bottom teeth, the other side did not meaning I would definitely have jaw alignment issues. Again, I am someone who uses dental guards all of the time! This was not just a case of me not knowing what I'm doing. Issue 2: Durability Since I was forced to redo the molding due to the flawed design, and due to the bulkiness of the product, this meant that now I am left with a product that is already falling apart (Please see pictures). Additionally, even though the fit was better than on my first try, it still had the issue of alignment, but did fit tighter somehow so it was not easily falling off. The product however, still forced my mouth to remain open in an uncomfortable manner. Issue 3: Impact on sleep - Issues with throat I woke up 4 times last night coughing. Because this product forces my mouth to remain open, my throat got extremely dry throughout the night and I was actually worried I was getting sick with a dry cough. The last time it woke me up I decided to take the product off and lo and behold, no coughing for the rest of the night. Issue 4: Price As I have already mentioned, you can get other great products which typically sell with two mouth guards for the price of this one Dentek! It is much more worth it for you to buy a product, with similar reviews as this one, that will AT LEAST grant you access to two dental guards instead of one. It is just not worth it and now I have lost out on $20 for something that I did not even get to wear one full night! And yes, sometimes dental guards take sometime getting used to, but this was not the case here. If you order these because you were as desperate as I am, and are experiencing the issues I mention above, please know that it is not normal and you can definitely find another guard that will work better for you! Don't give up and wear this horrible product. It can do a lot more harm than good.

I’ve been struggling with teeth grinding for years to have reached to the level where I would wake up and have to remove broken teeth parts from my mouth. I couldn’t eat for one hour after waking up because of the grinding all night. Today this product has arrived then I slept after I got it. It was a sleep to remember. Highly recommend if you have teeth grinding problems.

Una vez ajustada a mi dentadura, la comodidad fue inmediata. la férula se mantuvo en su lugar a lo largo de la noche sin causar ninguna incomodidad. ive tried 3 different guards from amazon, this one was the best packaged, best instructions, very good quality guard, build to last, quite thick which may be an issue to some, when closing your mouth it leaves a bigger gap than other guards. compared to others it is more comfortable, however it is not the snuggest most secure fit compared to other options, almost feels loose to where i was concerned it would fall out of my mouth during sleep, but was happily suprised that i woke up with it still in and secure. so perhaps my initial thoughts are wrong. also remolding is always an option to try to make it more secure. overall great guard. one of the best on amazon.
