Great sugar replacement!
Purchased this to replace sugar in recipes. Date sugar isn't supposed to spike blood sugar and I'm trying to be better about how much sugar I consume. This product is great and doesn't give weird flavors like other sweeteners. Sweetens everything I use it in and I can't tell a difference between it and normal sugar. Love it!

fine date sugar
Love this date sugar. Very easy to use. Especially good for those who cant eat regular sugar. Its superfine texture makes the baking easy. Ands it is nutritious too.

Fine particles, doesn't dissolve
I've been trying to use this in my coffee. First I just added it to the cup -- makes the coffee gritty and settles in the cup as sludge. Not as sweet as sugar, but looking to cut carbs and not use artificial sweetener, so it works for that. Taste was fine. Second attempt was putting it in a metal coffee filter and pouring the coffee through it -- that worked, but it needed to be stirred to penetrate and it was terribly slow. Third attempt was tying it into a coffee filter and leaving it in the pot -- filter floated and then burst when I tried to push it down (so sludge in both pot and cup). Latest attempt was to use a fine teabag in the coffee pot and that worked except it wasn't big enough to hold enough date sugar, so I needed to add more to the cup (more sludge). Ordered some "soup bags" and will try those.

This is awful
I wanted to try it since I normally get the coconut palm sugar,I read this was healthier… but it’s awful it doesn’t really dissolve completely,it stays at the bottom of your cup like crumps

Less sweetness than regular sugar
I was expecting this to be the same level of sweetness as cane sugar, which is what I normally use for baking, but this actually turned out to be less sweet. I made biscotti and used the same measurements of date sugar as I would with regular sugar and the biscotti was less sweet. If you're looking to reduce sugar, that is perfect. If you're looking to make it just as sweet as normal sugar, I'd recommend adding more of the date sugar. The biscotti did turn out more of a caramel brown color due to the color of the date sugar (I know it looks like it's burned, I promise it's not, it's just the date sugar color), but it didn't bother me. Tasted great and had the level of sweetness I was looking for.
