I don't normally write reviews, but this Mintie box deserves it. We bought one four years ago, my child has been using it daily (age 10-14, boy - bags thrown often, food left in it for a weekend, etc). It's been perfect, very sturdy, and easy to clean. For some reason one of the clamps broke a few months ago and I wanted to repair myself, so was asking the producers if they have a spare clamp I could rivet onto the box. They were very helpful, they offered me a free replacement. I still wanted to try the repair, but it would have been too complicated to get the suitable spare part. So Mintie just sent us the free replacement.

Good product, sturdy item

I've had this for over a year now and it is brilliant. It works well for keeping a sandwich fresh and some carrot sticks thanks to the seal, but recently I've spread out into putting stir fry for lunch in it, and I've not had sauce leak into my bag once. The cloth bag and snack pot are a nice addition too! As everything is stainless steel I think honestly the first fail point on this box will either be a knock disturbing the latches, or the inner seal of the lid peeling. But I forsee those being far in the future problems; as of now, it is as new as the day I got it, and has handled a lot of abuse going to uni and back! Though seemingly obvious, do be warned that the metal will get hot if you put hot food in it!!

Did a bit of research and found this lunch box. Comes with a cloth bag, a leak proof little pot and a divider. Size is perfect for my 5yo school lunch. Washes perfectly in the dishwasher and is super sturdy but not too heavy. The only thing we didn't like was that the divider only works with dry food, anything with liquid in it would leak into the other compartment. Otherwise an excellent product.

The quality of this thing is superb! Way better than the 41£ Sigg version, which is a swiss brand but made in china anyway, and with this one you get a bunch of accessories for cheaper! It should be noted the lid is rock solid as its a little thicker (in a good way) and the rubber seal is amazing! The expensive Sigg one doesn’t seal liquids properly at all, doesn’t include accessories and you also cannot place the lunch box over the lid in order to save space but with this one it perfectly fits over the lid so you can keep the lid below the lunch box, also the closing mechanism is amazing

I love this lunchbox I use it everyday for work. Keeps everything fresh, never leaks, traps the food smell inside. It is super quick to clean and I love the little compartment thing you can use to separate your food. It also comes with a little tub which I use for sauces or grapes/Blueberries etc.

A great lunch box, and my daughter loves it too. Perfect size, nice secure lid and the little pot is very useful too. … EDITED TO MOVE TO 2 STARS Unfortunately the rubber seal has come out and will not now stay in, which is a real pain and makes it impossible to close.. Unfortunately customer service was only able to suggest pushing it back in, which is impossible. A little disappointing since it was so expensive. EDITED TO MOVE TO 1 STAR Broken even further now as one of the clips has come off and it can’t be securely closed. Not a very robust well made product unfortunately.
