Dell 1TB External Portable Hard Drive USB 3.0 (XNWYD)

All around a good experience. Shipping/Packaging was good, plugged it in and it works great, prior to this I had to mess around with my docking station which also needed it's own power source, this draws right from the laptop, just hooked it in and it was ready to use. For people who download lots of games, movies, music or transfer videos to their computer this is a great and simple way to store all that data and keep your hard drive space free.

Plugged this sleek little compact baby in and I was up and running. Ready to backup everything I needed to before a complete Windows 10 reformate/reinstall. Fast as lightening. No extra external software to install. Runs off the power of your computer so you don't need to plug it into another power source to get it running. This is the best folks! Forget about ALLLLLLLLLLL those other external backup drives folks.

Purchased it in October 2014. Working well since then. Faced no problem at all. Regarding Amazon's delivery, it was awesome, got it in 36 hours only. Still working well in 2021. We just need to handle it carefully always.

This product have a back up file inbuilt which is to secure your important file.With a stylish finishing it looks awesome.The usb cable is removable so the probability of cable damaging is very less.The product itself very hard so you can use it roughly.best product under this price range and it's reliable . best HDD ever . gives me speed @ 60-110 Mbps in 3.0 port 20-35 Mbps in 2.0 port . bought it in 2014 and still working perfectly. 6 years and my data is still safe in this HDD.

I ordered 1TB Dell HD thinking that it will as good as the brand name of Dell. Also since I am using a Dell laptop I thought it will be more appropriate if I buy the the HD of Dell. I am not satisfied with the delivery by Amazon since it took quite a long time as compared to delivery by Flipkart [normal mode]. Flipkart delivers it within 2 days whereas Amazon took 3 days. Although, the HD is delivering results as expected, there is a problem with it. The front part [where we plug in the USB cable] is loose and is not compact. I am not sure yet whether the product is manufactured like that or it is a damaged one.
