Works amazing!!! It has helped my 3 month old with his sleep regression. He falls asleep faster and smoother than ever before and sleeps through the entire night no nighttime wakings. I will definitely be reordering more.

My sister has some of this for her 1-year-old, and I was envious of the nice smell! I ended up ordering some for myself and not only does it smell great, but it actually has really improved my sleep instantly. I did some research beforehand because I know that some trendy sleep aids (like melatonin) aren't good for longterm use, but it seems like the only controversy is whether you even absorb much magnesium through the skin. And if the placebo effect is responsible, I honestly don't care. I usually wake up 3-4 times during the night on a GOOD night. When I use this lotion, it seems like I wake up once MAXIMUM, usually not at all. I don't know if it's the magnesium, the lovely smell, or placebo, but it doesn't matter to me as long as it works! I honestly might have given it 5 stars for the smell alone. That said, yes, it is an oily lotion. Which is why I don't use it as a hand creme but put it on my torso like the instructions suggest. It doesn't really moisturize, as it actually seems to leave the finger that I use to apply it feeling dry, but since that isn't why I'm using it, it isn't a big deal to me. I usually just use my favorite hand lotion after applying it to take care of the dryness on my finger/hand, and that's that. It doesn't really absorb quickly, so it's best to put it on, then wear a loose-fitting nightshirt so you don't get oil all over your sheets. This hasn't been an issue for me, but if you wear something with a tighter fit, it's worth noting. I personally would not apply it during the day due to this issue (I also don't know if it would help me sleep if not applied near bedtime, I haven't experimented).

This cream has been on my list of things to try for over a year now. The Earthly brand in itself is amazing, their products are made in the USA and they have incredible ingredients in all of their products. A wonderful nontoxic brand with many products to choose from. The idea behind this cream is to essentially promote better and/or more relaxed sleep. We purchased this for myself and our two boys who currently wake up 3-4 times a night 😫 I’ve heard amazing things about this cream. Unfortunately I’m finding that it hasn’t helped much?? We’ve been using it for a month and it seems* like we haven’t noticed a difference in anyone’s sleep this far. Am I doing something wrong because I’ve heard such amazing things!! 😭 Not sure y’all. Maybe I’ll come back around in a month or two and see if we’ve then noticed a change. So, not as crazy about this product as I thought I’d be - not recommending and not, not recommending. If you’ve tried this what do you think?? Any feedback or suggestions on how to use it better?

Love this stuff! My daughters and I like the smell, it's a good consistency (not too oily, not grainy), and it's easy to apply. It works great too! Our sleep has been better and we all love the ritual of putting it on every evening :)

Title sums it up but to expand: I primarily brought this to see if it would help my 9mo sleep better. (Hahahaha amiright?) The sensitive version has only the faintest smell - perfect for babies. It did not irritate my skin nor that of either of my young children (ages 9mo and 4y). The lotion has a little grit to it (typical) and upon application feels slick at first then absorbs very well leaving minimal grease and sticky-ness behind. Other brands have been much worse. As for the magnesium sleep effect….nothing notable occurred on any of us after multiple nights of application: some nights my infant slept better than other nights (so nothing changed here); my toddler sleeps all night anyway; and I am up and down all night with the baby and did not feel any drowsier during those wake-ups than I usually do. So yeah, nada. I wish this was the golden cure-all for my infant’s love of nightlife - but - I’ve come to accept that there just isn’t one. Babies gonna baby. They don’t discriminate between night and day and so their needs do not change much from one hour to the next. They want their mamas 25/7. All you other sleep-deprived parents reading this: Sorry, and I feel you 100%, but your baby just needs you. You’re going to be exhausted until they grow a little more and you just gotta come to peace with that fact. Surrender to it. The best you can do is get baby into a consistent night time routine, nap when they nap (if possible), and don’t hesitate to ASK your family and friends to help whenever & wherever possible. And give yourself plenty of grace because this is the hardest job that ever was it ever will be. Where has this been all my life! I finally found a massage cream.That is absolutely amazing. The blue bliss smells really good is a little intense.So if you have an issue with scents, you might want to go for the sensitive one. I personally like it.. it has a great slip to it. Not oily. Very nourishing in the magnesium it works.
