Thermometer is way off
It seemed off so I tested it in boiling water very close to see level. The thermometer read 108 degrees C. This thing is pretty worthless.

Fails Ice Bath test
Very hard to read and reads 36 degrees in an ice bath. Fundamentally missed completely!

Defective; air bubbles and off by like 10F
Says my 70F room is like 80F+, less accurate then just guessing what the temp is. The column is also full of air bubbles so even if it was accurate it would be hard to read
