Caviar Russe, White Sturgeon Caviar, 1 Ounce

I rated this 5-star based on what it's "supposed" to be, but personally - I will never order it again. The product arrived within a couple hours of ordering and was packaged to my satisfaction. The product is well within the expiration date (5-months to go) and is exactly as described and what I've read online to expect from White Sturgeon caviar: tawny brown to platinum color with a creamy and buttery flavor. Some describe it as having a smooth pop while others say there is no pop to it's texture. I experienced the latter: no pop - which again - is one of the described characteristics.The flavor is great - I put it on the skinless part of brie (American) with a few salmon roe to add pop and a slight saline flavor and was pretty happy with the result (after trying a variety of combinations).Although I have a palette for finer caviar, I enjoy lumpfish caviar on my soft boiled eggs for breakfast and was hoping this would be a nice improvement: it's not. Although lumpfish sucks in the sense that it is colored and the color bleeds into the egg yolk, I really enjoy the dozens of salty pops per mouthful.Personally I rate this 4-star. But as the product is exactly what is to be expected, I cannot fault it for a difference in preference. Hopefully someone reads this, has a similar palette, and will take the review into consideration (and not rate poorly based on their own subjective tastes).

Buttery smooth taste like the ocean

I purchased because I saw the caviar advertisement featured a pearl spoon. The pearl spoon is needed to properly scoop the caviar without damaging the product. When I got the product it did not include the pearl spoon as pictured in the ad for the product. Somewhat disappointed I did not get the pearl spoon. I am still excited to try the caviar.
