Great for 8 and 9 year old boys!

I purchased this basketball along with my kids' first basketball goal and, together, they are the life of our driveway. This is a great, sturdy product that fits great in the hands of my 9 and 8 year old boys. My 5 year old daughter's hands a re a little small for this basketball...but she cant reach the goal anyway. :)

Could bounce better.

This is a good ball; however, my son's team was issued a Mikasa BX1008 youth basketball, which I think is a better ball, with a better bounce and a pretty good skin.
