Game-Changer for Towels & Gym Clothes
Lysol Laundry Sanitizer has been a blessing for both my towels and my washing machine. I use it every time I wash towels, and it keeps everything smelling fresh and truly clean — not just masked with fragrance. I also use it on all laundry when someone in my household is sick. It gives me peace of mind knowing it’s helping kill germs, especially during cold and flu season. I have very sensitive skin when it comes to perfumes and soaps, so I usually add it during the prewash cycle as a personal preference. I haven’t experienced any skin irritation even when using it in the regular cycle, which says a lot. I highly recommend it for athletic wear, towels, or anything that tends to hold onto odors. It’s become a staple in my laundry routine.

Eliminates pet odors
Got it same day delivery. No spills or dents it even came with a seal around the lid and the entire thing was in a bag for even more protection. This is perfect for pet odors I have an elderly cat and this with my regular detergent eliminates all smells and leaves clothes fresh. It works perfectly is a great size and 100% worth the money.

Great sanitizer for dirty sweaty laundry
This works really well as a laundry sanitizer. I like using it for my sweaty gym clothes and my towels when I want them to feel extra clean. It’s nice that this version is free and clear, so there’s no strong fragrance left behind, and it’s actually clear so I haven’t noticed any staining for color fading on my clothes… The bottle size is good and lasts a while, which makes it a good value for money. Mine also arrived with no bottle leakage, which I appreciated. Overall it’s a simple product that works great if you want an extra level of clean in your laundry.

If You Wear Hospital Scrubs Or Gym Clothes You Need This
I bought this specifically to sanitize my hospital scrubs without destroying the fabric. Scrubs take a beating — sweat, body odor, bacteria from long shifts, and whatever else you come into contact with. Washing alone doesn’t always cut it, especially when you’re dealing with materials that absorb and hold onto odors. I’ve used regular detergents, fabric softeners, and even the so-called “sport wash” detergents, but none of those are true sanitizers. And I refused to use bleach — it ruins scrubs, breaks down fibers, fades color, and leaves them stiff. I also recently switched to Laundry Sauce pods (which are great but cost over $1 per pod, which is insane), so I needed something that would sanitize without clashing with the detergent’s scent or overpowering everything. This Free & Clear version is exactly what I wanted: no fragrance, no dyes, no added nonsense, and no interference with whatever detergent you already use. ⸻ What This Actually Does — The Part Nobody Explains This isn’t a detergent. It’s a sanitizer additive. Detergent cleans. This kills bacteria that survive the wash. There’s a massive difference — and you can smell it when you pull your clothes out of the dryer. Clothes feel clean-clean, not “masked by scent.” It’s designed for: • scrubs • underwear • gym clothes • towels • sheets • anything that sits in a hamper too long • clothes worn around sick people • things you can’t bleach This is basically a medical-grade safety net for your laundry. ⸻ Performance — It Works, and You Notice It Immediately My scrubs come out: • sanitized • neutral-smelling (not perfumed, literally neutral) • softer than when I used bleach alternatives • not damaged — no fading, no thinning, no stiffness The biggest difference is the odor elimination. Scrubs pick up bacteria that detergent doesn’t kill. After using this, there’s no lingering “hospital smell,” no weird sour undertones, and no chemical scent either. For gym clothes and microfiber fabrics, it’s even better — it removes the deep, trapped sweat smell that normally survives detergent. ⸻ Why the Free & Clear Version Matters Most laundry sanitizers have heavy fragrances. If you’re already using a detergent with a signature scent (like Laundry Sauce), mixing the two can become a mess. Strong sanitizer scents will overpower or distort your detergent. This one does not: • no scent • no clash • doesn’t interfere with pod detergents • safe for sensitive skin • safe for hospital gear It’s basically a “silent partner” product that boosts hygiene without announcing itself. ⸻ Ease of Use — Pour and Forget You add it during the rinse cycle or into the fabric softener compartment so it automatically dispenses. It doesn’t foam, doesn’t thicken, and doesn’t leave residue. Because it’s not bleach-based, you don’t have to worry about: • staining • color fading • chemical burns • fabric breakdown You just add it and move on. ⸻ Value — Shockingly Good Compared to the Cost of Replacing Scrubs Scrubs aren’t cheap. Neither are high-end detergents. This bottle is inexpensive, lasts a long time, and extends the lifespan of clothes you wear constantly. Using this honestly feels like fabric insurance. If you factor in: • $1+ per Laundry Sauce pod • the price of replacing worn-out scrubs • how often gym clothes need deep cleaning …this is one of the most cost-effective items you can add to the laundry routine. ⸻ Pros • Actually sanitizes — great for scrubs, gym clothes, bedding • No bleach: safe for colors and sensitive fabrics • Completely fragrance free • No clash with scented detergents • Removes deep odors, not just surface smells • Doesn’t damage or fade scrubs • Great price for the size • Perfect for anyone working in healthcare, fitness, childcare, or food service ⸻ Cons • You go through it faster if you sanitize every load • Not a detergent — you still need your normal wash • Bottle is heavy; spout could pour cleaner • Sells out often ⸻ Final Verdict: A Must-Have for Anyone Who Needs True Cleanliness If you wear scrubs, work in a hospital, sweat hard at the gym, or just want your laundry to be genuinely sanitized without bleach, this is the product to buy. It doesn’t interfere with higher-end detergents, doesn’t damage clothes, and actually removes bacteria instead of masking smells. This is now permanently part of my laundry routine. 5/5. Quietly powerful and absolutely essential.

I suffer from an odour in my oil glands on my scalp, shoulders, and back of my neck. It's an old man smell that some of you may identify with. The odour gets into clothing, hats, pillows and pillow cases, hoodies, etc.. Nothing worked to get that odour out until I tried this Lysol product. This product neutralized the odour completely and returned my items to brand new as far as smell was concerned. This product is free and clear of perfumes and any fragrances. There is a very slight chemical smell to the product. If you use a little too much the chemical smell is present when taken out of the washer, but a lot of that smell evaporates in the dryer, but a bit gets left over when the clothes come out of the dryer- I used two caps for a not very full load of clothing, should have used 11/2 caps or 1 cap instead. Other than that, the product is amazing, you'll really be pleased.
