This is a funny gift for any of your friends and family that have any interest in the medical field. My husband purchased this for me, after he saw a co worker with a different plush. He searched all around until he found it, and it is true to the actual Herpes virus. He thought he was so clever that he got it for me, and even made a joke about giving me the "gift that she will never lose". You can get this as a gag gift or to add to an office to give it a little zing if you work in a lab or medical office of some sort. It is rather cute and clever.

This was a gag gift for a white elephant exchange. It was perfect! There was the pause while they tried to figure out what it was, then laughter all around. This was the most stolen gift at the exchange - the only time everyone will be TRYING to get herpes. The item itself is soft and just as pictured. I highly recommend it.

Got this for a coworker who is going to give it to his wife (a nurse) as a Christmas present to use at work. Part gag gift, part useful, great idea! :) Quality of construction for all of these so far has been good and they do look like the pictures currently shown on Amazon.com (December 20, 2015).

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She is college-age, so I felt it appropriate. She thought it was hilarious and loved saying "I got herpes for Christmas!" This gift is great for someone with a wicked sense of humor. If the person actually has the illness, its probably not going to be as funny a gift. I plan to buy more in the line. One for each special holiday: birthday, valentines ect. Reviews said the item was huge, but it was slightly larger than your hand, which I think is a perfect size. Looks to be well constructed. I'm impressed.

Amazing product! I got this as a gag gift (i.e. 'I gave you herpes!'), but it's a lot of fun to toss around. It's very durable and looks cute. Probably even a good dog toy...The educational value is great too. The tag that comes with the toy gives a brief description about the disease so I'd keep that.
