New Palladini Tarot Cards – April 15, 2002

Gorgeous deck by the same artist who designed the Aquarian Tarot Deck. It’s great for Intuitive readers and those who are familiar with RWS or Marseille systems. Doesn’t lend itself to Thoth systems but most decks don’t. It is lovely and well thought out. Decent card stock but thin, though. Plus, just a standard card box but nice deck

I've been doing tarot card/intuitive readings professionally for over 50 years. When my husband and I teach, I tell students that reading tarot is telling a story from a picture. If I don't have a good picture, it makes the process of entering the intuitive more difficult for me. I have several decks and one of them is worn out, so this is the replacement that I chose. I do have other decks with different artwork but tend to reuse the ones with more traditional imagery - probably due to 50 years of readings!! LOL.

This deck has grown on me. When I first saw the pictures online, I thought some of the faces and proportions looked a bit odd. However, I really do love the use of color and the art maintains its style. If you’re a fan of Aquarian Tarot, I would recommend this deck (same artist); it has a style but more color and better facial expressions. I also love how many of the suits incorporate a nighttime theme (except cups) - that is something I’ve not seen done before. The cards in the image are some of my favorites.

I love this deck! I own the Aquarian deck as well from the same artist and this deck's vibe hits differently! I love the colors used and some of the facial expressions in some cards are everything! It's also really easy to shuffle and they don't feel cheap.

Am a collector and a reader and when saw this deck knew it had to have it. Beautiful colors and artwork that spoke to me. I resonated with this deck immediately and knew I had made a good choice. Easy to work with and read. Close to RWS basics, but with a medieval feel. Colors are vibrant, cards are a good size, quality of paper is good, with almost matte finish and light lamination. The images have a simplicity about them which feels good and makes reading with them so easy and comfortable.

I usually pick three cards a day and decided to buy this deck, the New Palladini Tarot, a few weeks ago upgrading, so to speak, from the Rider-Waite deck I had been using for 1.5 years.It takes time to learn a new deck, yet I find this one may have more subtleties hidden here and there. Messages that one cannot fathom right from the first pick. Also, more person-less cards, which always brings my curiosity up. The learning curve is steep and I will keep working at and with it!

I really like these cards, I just got them. For some reason, they have a very "clean" feel to them. The images can be a bit unusual, as the human beings seem to have faces that are a bit elongated, but that's part of the style. The Card stock is of very good quality and they're very easy to shuffle. Very pleased with them, and I look forward to using them regularly.

Palladini has put together this newer version. One of myall time favorites is my original Aquarian deck. Palladinihas created this new version which is brightly colored andbrings in a new feeling of ease to read. If you enjoy brightlycolored deck with great images you might just enjoy havingthis one at hand.
