seeds Review: Perfect beginner aquarium plant seeds - A lil slow at first, but when they do start growing, they GROW!!! Review: Horrible! Wish I read other reviews before purchasing! - I had to completely clear out all seeds I had planted of this grass. The ones pictures were the only ones that sprouted. First I had to syphon out as many of the non growing seeds as I could, and then try to replant the ones that were “successful” (as you can tell, they are bunched together more so than if they were actually naturally sprouted) While all of the seeds were in the tank, they started growing fungus before I had added my water. So I had to continuously pull that out. Then even after filling my tank it was just creating a lot of rot. Now, I have completely pulled out all grass because it has just thinned and melted away. Which really makes me mad because you only get one shot at a dry start on plants. And my dwarf baby tears did so good!

Very poor quality
Seeds were scattered on wet substrate and then fine mist sprayed 2x daily for 2 weeks. Once they started to sprout, water was very slowly added to the 5 gallon tank. At first they seemed to be doing fine; However less than 1/3 of the seeds germinated, and after a few weeks those that did started to turn a very pale almost transparent brown color, despite excellent fertilization and CO2 being injected into the tank. Been planting aquariums for over 30 years and Java fern and anubias growing like wildfire in the tank but these are clearly dying off. Total waste of money!

Great aquarium investment
I used this product in my 55 gallon aquarium and it grew beautifully. My fish, shrimp and frogs love the grass. It has been a great investment. It did take a little longer than 8 days for germination but once it started growing it grew fast. It adds a lovely touch to the aquarium.

Patience
Like variety of plants. I had to be patient. Sprouts take a long time to appear. I use a used filter cartridge which I secured with knitting needles diagonal. Water every few days. The light provides heating .

Easy to use, fun to see. Sprouts in days!
They sprout easily within days of planting. Make sure you layer them in your substrate (sand or aquarium soil works best). Seeds float so they are easiest planted to a new aquarium.

Garbage
Pretty sure this is just normal grass seed for your yard. Marked up in price. It won’t even sink in the water no matter how long it soaks. It also doesn’t grow obviously. Don’t waste your money.
