This is not leather. It's fake. But it's very durable. It doesn't bend weird, or stretch weird.Pro:1. Buckle is so smooth. I bought couple of other belt like this that adjust on rail, and this is by far the best, smoothest one ever.2. It's not leather, so no scruff marks, but doesn't look cheap.3. Cognac and the brown is right on point with the colors and matches my shoes perfectly.4. Brushed chrome look is very nice.5. Chrome doesn't look that bad either.6. Unlike other belts, it curves my waist out of the box because how it was wrapped.7. Packaging was done well.8. Adjustment size are listed on the back side of the belt for cutting with size listed and they're fairly accurate. I'd cut it with little more room though.9. Have yet to have the belt buckle come undone. This was a big thing for me, because others just came undone and once that happens, you can't hold it unless you cut off little bit of the belt.10. Buckle mechanism, again, is flawless.Cons1. It's not leather. I'm not sure how long this will last until flakes, but the first belt I bought was so good, I'll look over this.Buy it for work. Cognac color is dead-on with cognac shoes. Brown is dead-on with Cole Hann shoes. Black... well, black shoes.

I love these belts! I originally got a brown one with a sharp looking gold/brass buckle. I liked it so much that I bought a black belt a couple of days later. This is an ingenious design! A hasp inside the buckle holds itself to a plastic strip on the backside of the belt. To tighten the belt all you have to do is hold the buckle and pull the leather through a little bit, and to release the belt you simply pull up on a thumb tab on the buckle. The leather appears to be of good quality, i.e. thick enough and with a nice finish to it.The fact that you can trim the belt to exactly the right length is a plus. I have a 43 or 44 inch waist. I read a review saying that these belts tend to run small, so I got the 44-50 inch belt and trimmed it to fit.I have gotten frustrated running all over town trying to find a quality leather belt for a decent price (i.e., less than $60). I know where I’ll be shopping for belts from now on!

Let’s be real, a belt is a belt. The belt is definitely genuine leather and it feels and smells great. No cheap materials here. But the most impressive thing about this belt… The presentation blew me out the water. It comes in a standard cardboard box with “Made in China” stamped on the front of it. However when you open that box, wow!!! What a presentation! The belt buckle is individually wrapped. And the belt itself is also individually wrapped. Each in their own compartment in the box. I’ve just never seen that before.

Disclaimer: I have been wearing ratchet belts for 28 months now and I will not go back to the old style.. I purchased this belt to match a pair of dress shoes that I had purchased before. When purchased I wasn't hoping for anything special just the aforementioned requirement. However, this belt is very very very sexxy. <-- At least as far as a belt can be. The color is soft and loud and you can wear it with any pants shirt combo. Please note that I have never had any issues with ratchet belts since I started wearing them over 24 months ago and all of them are still in perfect shape.

The ratcheting mechanism on the back of the belt won’t leave any marks or scratches.Second- these things are extremely customizable. If you’re getting tired of your belt but you love the buckle, just grab a flathead screwdriver or a basic kitchen knife, pop the buckle off and switch it to another belt. SIMPLE!Third- The most important feature I can mention on these belts are the extreme level of comfort they offer. Eat a little too much? Just reach down to your waist, flick the knob that controls the ratchet, and boom! you’ve just loosened your belt to allow for that thanksgiving turkey to digest in comfort.I’m wearing mine right now as I write this review and I also own three others in different colors. I promise you that once you try one, you’ll NEVER want to buy a traditional belt again!

It is made of soft and very well finished genuine grainy top leather, and neutral color or natural light tannish bottom cowhide. The ratchet buckle means it will never be stress-bent at the pinhole notch leading to cracking, peeling or splitting. This belt can last years even with heavy continuous use.***

I bought this belt as I like the idea of the ratchet system, especially as I am in the middle of a body fat reduction cycle. when I got it I was impressed by its weight, it holds up well to my EDC kit. I especially love the weight of the buckle.The packaging is very protective, however the belt needed a few days to lose its memory and uncoil. Very nice fit and finish, the mechanism works with out a hitch and is sturdy.Will be buying more!

El cinto es de calidad, está bien construido, las tallas con correctas y el mecanismo de liberación funciona perfectamente. Había comprado anteriormente cintos automáticos que eran mas caros, creo que por la caja y empaque premium con las que los envían, ejemplo los Mio Marino, pero este cinto no le pide nada en cuanto a construcción y funcionalidad, solamente la caja donde viene, que tirarás en cuanto empieces a usar el cinto, es austera y sin ningun adorno. Prefiero pagar un costo bajo como con este cinto a tener una caja premium que terminaré tirando.

La calidad no es mala pero el color no tiene nada que ver con la imagen, se ve casi amarillo, no miel o café.
