Best. Puzzle. Ever! Super enjoyed this! Finally found a puzzle that was an actual challenge for me! Perfect fit; no false fits. Nice, thick pieces, small, but not tiny. Great colors and clear picture on each piece. Was fun, no missing pieces. LOVED LOVED LOVED this!

Ravensburger has the highest quality puzzles on the market, hands down. The durability, easy of assembly/disassembly, and surface texture have quickly become the standard I rate all other puzzles against. Unfortunately Ravensburger puzzle pictures are too often a bit bland or cheesy-- but this puzzle just knocked it out of the park. Ravensburger quality, combined with an amusing, vivid piece of original artwork, all presented in the far too rare option of a 5,000 piece jigsaw, oversized reference poster included!! I need more puzzles that hit these points, and now! The artwork is beautiful, entertaining and detailed with lots of bright colors that look striking when you've completed the puzzle. I love Colin Thompson's puzzle artwork because it always strikes just the right balance between readily identifiable sections interspersed with challenging portions that require more attention and dedication. As a bonus, his puzzles, this one included, always have at least a few sections that my young kids can sort out and start completing themselves.

This puzzle is amazing, and very workable. I enjoyed a lot. I previously make another Ravensburger puzzle of 9200 pieces, more difficult, but a great work of art. This is not classic art, but is a nice picture. There is some complexities anyway.

I really enjoyed this puzzle but sadly it was missing 10 pieces. I’ve given it 4 stars for this reason (otherwise a quality product) and Amazon were kind enough to give me a no fuss refund despite being past the 30 days.

This was an incredibly fun image to assemble. The quadrants of the picture are varied and laid out well enough that I did not experience false fits from the repeated pattern cut. Prior to doing this puzzle I did not know Colin Thompson was a children’s author/illustrator; many of the components of the artwork come from his books. There is so much detail overall you probably need to put it together multiple times to see everything (I like to do puzzles more than once - only on very rare occasions will I frame one.) Puns are my jam, so be sure to check out the book titles when you put it together!

I loved working this puzzle. It took me 20 days and I missed working on it when it was complete. I learned a long time ago to plan ahead on puzzles and was ready for this one. I have a long table, but it is only 36" wide. I laid my material cutting board over the table to get the 40" width and 60" length it takes to work this puzzle and there was no extra margin on the width, the puzzle went right to the edge. The only drawback I had on this puzzle was when I came across pieces that were locked together. One needs to be careful when pulling them apart so as not to peel the image overlay off. A sieve is also helpful to separate the blue dust from the pieces when getting close to the bottom of the box.

Usually these are high quality puzzles. Several pieces in this one were bent.

Non ci è voluto molto a finirlo, non è particolarmente complesso. Ma appeso offre una nota di colore davvero bella all'ambiente. Qualità ravensburger inimitabile e l'autore del quadro mi piace davvero.

Il est relativement facile à faire, comme tous les Colin Thompson, il faut juste de la place, des plateaux et des boites pour trier... une dizaine de soirées jusque tard dans la nuit (je suis assez rapide)... hyper addictif, vraiment chouette ! Seul bémol, deux pièces abimées dans le lot dès l'ouverture, dont une quasiment cassée.

Also mir macht dieses Puzzle sehr großen Spaß. Die Qualität ist so, wie man es von Ravensburger kennt: ordentlicher Druck, kräftige Farben und nur gelegentlich geknickte Köpfchen oder eine leicht abgelöste Bildlage. Damit bin ich zufrieden. Was mich verwundert ist die gelegentliche Forderung nach einer größeren Abbildung als Vorlage. Die Suche nach der richtigen Position der kleinen Teillösungen, die sich so bilden, ist für mich Teil des Witzes, bei einem Puzzle. Bei diesem Puzzle fand ich die Suche aber ohnehin nicht so schwer, weil das Motiv die Sache deutlich vereinfacht. Aber das empfindet wohl jeder anders. Dringend ins Bewusstsein rufen sollte man sich vor dem Kauf aber die Größe dieses Puzzles. Es ist 152x101cm groß und passt somit nur auf besonders große Tische oder man sollte eine Zuschnittplatte aus dem Baumarkt bereit halten. Tatsächlich habe ich das zum Anlass genommen, mir endlich mal einen schönen, klappbaren Puzzletisch mit einer Fläche von 170x120cm zu bauen. Damit bin ich nun auch in Zukunft auf 5000er vorbereitet. Mein Fazit ist: Ein relativ hochwertiges Puzzle mit witzigem Motiv und gehobenem, wenn auch nicht zu hohem Anspruch. Ich hoffe, Ravensburger produziert weiterhin Puzzles mit so großer Teilezahl und so schönen Motiven.

Colin Thompson is always fun. The image is so busy you never slow down as there is always something to work on. I did this in 11 days unsorted using pick and place.
