I appreciate this textbook so much. I’m so glad I found this.This book is written in a way where it’s easier to understand than a textbook but also has more information.I’m also happy that it has plenty of pictures of cadaver brains and imaging pictures. Having these photos is what’s going to help on a practicum.This has been the perfect helper to my anatomy & Physiology class. Even if the nervous system is only part of your curriculum, having this will get you through it easier. We all know how difficult studying the Nervous System is

Phenomenal review of functional neurobiology for early medical students.
I read about 90% of this book for the didactic years of medical school. This resource was excellent if you want to understand mechanisms and pathways underlying pathology. The book covers more detail than is necessary for Step 1, but if you just want what is necessary for Step 1, you should probably be re-thinking your motivations.

Not Light Reading, Might be More advanced that you are looking for
I am premed and really want to go into neurology. This book is probably too advanced for me. But I am happy I have it for when I have the basics down more, it is very comprehensive and well organized.

Excellent book to get started
Excellent book to get started. The ebook links to a bunch of videos, but I personally prefer a dead tree version, and this is perfect. Also renting is super cheap compared to the actual book price and it was on time.

I suggest you use a better printing company
This book would have gotten 5 stars, had it not been for the fact that the print is smeared and continues to do so. I suggest you use a better printing company. Would I recommend it to another? I sure would, if you can improve the printing issue. I will add photos of the smeared pint later.
