Rugged, lightweight, and really powerful - perfect for a Goal Zero Yeti!
I have the 120 watt panel and 60 watt panel so I can compare them. Both are identical except the 120 watt panel has twice the panels and folds into 4 sections while the 60 watt unit is a clamshell design. These are nicely rigid with excellent build quality with built-in handles cut into the material. The top surface on the panels is lightly textured and feels like it won't scuff or delaminate like typical folding panels. Included is a big back of accessories that plug into the 19v ball connector - MC4, alligator, cigarette, USB and a set of tips for compatibility with most battery units. My only complaint is the MC4 and alligator have pretty thin 18 gauge wire and although it's a very short run, I'd want those to be beefier.I'm using these to charge my Goal Zero Yeti 1000 lithium. Use the yellow 8mm tip and it works great. I have a pair of Goal Zero Boulder 100 briefcase panels that I used as a benchmark to see if a much lighter, smaller folding panel could perform as well as a heavy glass and aluminum panels. Short answer: absolutely and I think these are a much better option for a portable system like the Yeti. I could carry the Yeti and both folding panels (60 + 120w) easily in one trip while the GZ panels are quite large and heavy. The panels seem like they could handle a bit of rain but the junction box is the weak link with all panels so I'd avoid getting this very wet. The main upsides to a glass panel is they can dissipate heat better are are generally going to last a long time (20-30+ years) while a folding panel may not last as long but only time will tell, I'll update my review as time passes.I tested these in Mid march at 12:40pm in CT on a day with clear skies with just minimal haze tilted towards the sun at 45 degrees. Plugging the panels into the built-in PWM and optional MPPT module 8mm ports on the Yeti, here is what I measured for max output on the Yeti's screen:60w TP-Solar panel - 45w MPPT (37w PWM) - 75% of rated input with MPPT120w TP-Solar panel - 86w MPPT (77w PWM) - 72% of rated input with MPPT100w Goal Zero panel - 77w MPPT (65w PWM) - 77% of rated input with MPPTGoal Zero panels output a tiny bit more for their rating than these panels but these variances are within the margin of error for my tests since the panel angle or clouds could cause a few percentages either way. These tested very well and were consistent between the two panels. If you look at the photos, you'll see just how thin these are. I held the 60w + 120w panels next to the GZ panels and these together (180w) are less than half of one side of the GZ panels so these are probably 20% of the thickness and much smaller overall. For a portable setup, I'd pick these every time. USB charging was very fast though there is no USB-C output, just two USB-A.My only complaints are these do not have any sort of kickstand so you need to lean these against something to angle them, or lay them flat and take a hit on output. The carrying case is a bit tight on the 120w panel but I honestly won't even use the case because the panels fold in so they are protected (unlike the GZ panels where the solar surface is out when folded). I bought a pair of folding document stands that do a nice job of angling these and holding them securely so that's a good option.Overall, I really this this style of folding panel better than the fabric covered versions that feel like toys. These are also better than larger flexible panels because those are floppy and can be damaged easily. This design basically gives you the advantages of a flexible panel with the compactness and protection of a folding panel with none of the compromises. Super impressed. The only question is which size to get. The 120w panel is a better value and doesn't feel much heavier or thicker than the 60w version but does take a bit more coordination to fold and unfold since it's a W shape. The 60w version just unfolds and you're ready to go. Either is great, just depends on your use case but I'd always recommend more panels because you never get near the rated output.

They forgot the cables but quickly followed up! Changed from a 1 star to a 5 star!
Opened the box and all that was in there was the solar panel and the carrying bag. I'm missing every single cable accessory that was supposed to have come with it.UPDATE #1 - TP Solar followed up with me (very quickly, nice!) and have shipped out the missing accessories. Will update as soon as I get them. Changing to 3 stars for now.UPDATE #2 - Changed this review to a solid 5 stars. TP Solar graciously sent me not only the missing accessories but a free 30-watt solar panel as a gift. Seriously awesome. The best thing about their support is that they followed up with me that same day and shipped it out immediately the following day. I received the replacement parts in 4 days. That's some seriously dedicated customer support in my book. I have tested everything out on the panel to work as it should. I'm currently using it to charge my Rockpals solar generator. Works like a charm. Also, for the folks complaining about this panel not having built-in stands, go buy a 2pack of Mont Marte table easels here on Amazon. They work absolutely perfect with this panel, are inexpensive, sturdy and they fold down for portability. Thanks, TP Solar!

A great panel, with a few minor caveats
Overall, I think this is a great panel. I have used it with a jackery 1000, as well as a DIY solar "generator" setup with a 30a PWM charge controller. In full sun, solar noon and laying flat on the roof of my car, I was able to get 97.5 watts out of it using a PWM charge controller. For a 120w panel, that is pretty darn good. It seems well made, and has stood up to the Tennessee heat pretty well so far. While I do think this panel is a good value for the price, and will more than likely be buying a second to run in parallel, I don't feel right giving it a full 5 stars. It definitely falls somewhere between 4 and 5. Overall, as long as it holds up well over time, I definitely believe this is at least a 4 out of 5 product, but probably somewhere around 4.5 stars. Here are a list of the cons (and subsequent reasons I cannot in good faith call this a "5 star item"). I do certainly hope TP-solar reads these reviews and uses this criticism to improve future iterations.First, the DC output cable should be a bit longer. Maybe a foot or so more. Additionally, while it is not obnoxiously "thin", I would have preferred a beefier cable, especially since I have seen this panel put out almost 7 amps.Secondly, the accessorie cables that come with it, while a nice gesture, are quite frankly very poor quality. Particularly the mc4 cable and the battery clamps. While I don't know the gauge cable used on these items, I will say it is VERY thin, and feels as though just the act of connecting and disconnecting the mc4 connectors could cause damage to these wires. I would have liked to have seen beefier cables overall.Keep in mind, while i agree that it is generous for them to offer them in the first place, any cable that is too thin and prone to damage is almost not worth including at all. In addition to the thin accessory cables, I wish they did a better job of communicating the output cable sizes so that longer cables or more robust cables could be purchased easily. After some homework, I believe the DC output is a male 5.5mm x 2.1mm... but I have yet to have that confirmed by the manufacturer, and I dont feel like ordering anything and "hoping it works".Third, I think the biggest failing point of this panel is the junction box. If the panel is "waterproof", find a way to make the junction box waterproof as well. Period. The way it's designed now, the panel being waterproof is pointless. If left out in the rain, you will get water in the junction box, and the panel may fail due to that. It should not be the responsibility of the end user to engineer a way to waterproof a "waterproof" panel. Other panels have utilized some sort of waterproof cover over the junction box, and hopefully future runs of this otherwise great panel follow suite.Lastly, and this is a minor gripe for sure, but the carry case is WAY too tight. I cannot fathom why it is so tight. The panel is a pain to put back in, and this could have been remedied by simply making the width a few millimeters bigger. This should not have passed qc like this.Having said all that, I do feel like this is a well built panel. My cable issues aside, it does what it was built to do... take in photons and put out watts... and it seems to do it quite well. I think the biggest compliment you can give a product is to purchase it again, and like I said, I am about to order a second one. It plays nice with both my Jackery 1000 and my DIY solar setup. It appears to be well constructed, and I hope to get many years of service out of this panel. If I was grading it based solely on solar production, it would be a 5 star panel in my book. Numbers don't lie, and I've attached a photo of the readings from my inline power analyzer, which is attached directly to the panel's output. If you can live with the cons I've listed above, I'd definitely recommend this lightweight, portable, easy-to-setup panel that is priced very competitively.I bought this panel with my own hard-earned money. I have no affiliation with TP-Solar whatsoever, and have not recieved this product for the purpose of review. I bought it, I tested it, and I wanted to share my thoughts for anyone interested. Thanks for reading!!
