The Philippines Expat Advisor: A Guide to Moving and Living in the Philippines Paperback – January 12, 2013

Very well written apparently self-published book. My only problem is that it is copyright 2012-2013 so some of the legal information has to be out of date, But that info can be found on the internet, And the table of contents includes page numbers BUT there are no numbers on the pages! And I believe this is directly printed from web pages because many place say "Click This Link" but of course there is not link!Overall good info for anyone considering moving to the Philippines.

The book is extensive in the areas that it covers, but covers each in a way that the information is to the point and not drawn out. This lets you cover a wide area of topics without being bored. Very good book also in that it does not just give you the bright side of life and times in the Philippines, but tells you what to look for and to use "Common Sense" when traveling to the Philippines and determining if you want to stay or not.

I love this book. Ins and out of moving to the Philippines. What tondo and what not to do. What too expect.

The book spoke from one expat's experience (married with PI family). I could related with some of his writings but not all. I was hoping for more details and reference sources from this book.

I have not read the book yet but was very upset when I recieved the "old edition" 2014 and not the updated 2017 version. What gives? I feel like I got conned.

Informative and gave insight on what to expect when moving to the Philippines. Wide range of topics from must areas of concern.
