Musketeers: The Complete Series Collection: First, Second, & Third Series (Seasons 1, 2, and 3) [9-Disc Bundle Set]

I have roughly 370 discs in my library of DVDs. This has to be one of the best series that I have ever purchased. I've just finished series 1 and I have to say that this is the most Sensational action film that I have ever seen in my 87 years.

This BBC series was well done with good acting and story plots. It is a fun adventure series that the whole family can enjoy together, the fighting and violence is not overblown or gory and the characters all interact very well. Although taking place in France in the mid 1600's the female characters have a very prominent and active role. I highly recommend this series for everyone looking for a fantasy escape and especially for fans of the musketeers both old and young.

As a fan of one of the actors - Tom Burke - I was keen to obtain this series. The cast work well together and create a wonderful adventure filled series with plenty of swashing of buckles, romance, intrigue and angst, along with heroics there is smouldering and laughter. Heartily recommend it to anyone who enjoys an entertaining hour or so in a beautifully dressed and costumed adventure drama. Everyone puts in their best efforts and it shows in the quality of the acting and action.

I watched this on Hulu and it is AWESOME!!! You would think they would run out ideas that included sword/gun fights. NOPE. This series did not disappoint and you get invested with the characters. Great acting...good humor and all around fun.

A friend had purchased the set and loaned it to me several times. I enjoyed the series so much I had to order it myself so I can watch whenever I desire and not bother my friend!

If you like swashbucklers with a lot of swash, intrigue and cutie-pies running around in outstanding scenery without over-the-top violence or vulgarity, then you'll love this series.
