Really good overall and cooks really well. Typical of brown rice, is a little more chewy and has more body/flavor/nuttiness but is imo really nice if not better than white rice. Due to it being a whole grain, can have more of a potential for "invaders" along with lower shelf life. My advice, especially to eliminate and/or kill pre-existing potential "invaders, is to freeze it if you have the space. This does nothing to it for cooking since the grain is already dry. Also, do indeed rinse the grains pretty well along with soak for at least an hour.

We love this rice! As long as the price remains stable and doesn’t go up we will continue buying it! It’s expensive but we like that it’s American home grown food! There was a company in the Delta of Mississippi that we tried during Covid but it’s more expensive than this! Every now and again we will buy Thai Jasmine but this is our staple! Wife is Asian so rice is cooked almost every day!

Great texture, flavor, and filling effect! It takes a little bit longer than my basic rice cooker's cook time to make it a soft consistency like one might normally expect from rice and that's okay because to me the chewiness is art of the joy of brown rice. Also I notice when I eat it regularly my gut feels better overall so major bonus!

I eat alot of rice. This rice takes longer to cook but it's perfect every time.

The bag was pretty big and tasted fine. Better than brown rice I usually buy from Costco. The rice seems cleaner than the one I use from Costco.

This has been perfect for me. It arrived great and I have been slowly working me way through it. I haven't experienced any quality issues. I keep it in a rice dispenser. Will definitely order again when I run out.

We've bought this rice more than once. It smells and tastes very fresh. It was dry, clean and dust free, with no sign of insects or rodent droppings. (Yes, we've had that happen, but not from Amazon). The bulk bag is a great value for the price and it will last a very long time, provided it is properly stored.
