This book is the first of its kind ,very readable and it contains all the information you need. I have read a lot of surgical texts and find this book to have reached an excellent balance between brevity and yet thoroughly covering important basic and clinical concepts.The DVD is excellent !!! ,dozens of videos demonstrate surgical procedures step by step .

Not very useful as a surgery textbook.
