I love this saddle pad! You don’t slip around.

This is not your average bareback pad. I would describe this as being closer to an actual bareback saddle than merely a pad. And it is WONDERFUL. Where do I even begin? I have been looking for the perfectfit for myself and my mare for years. I am far more comfortable riding bareback, but I find bareback pads to be a little too slippery and unstable and soft saddles have never offered enough contact and have always left me feeling like I’m riding in a seat above my horse. This bareback saddle is very well designed. It is padded in the best places to offer optimal seat and leg support. The suede is an excellent choice for stability as well. It is super grippy! My mare does have a little bit of a sway, which is why I paired this bareback saddle with a Reinsman shimmed pad (with grippy underside) and it is CHEF’ KISS. We rode in the woods this evening and we were able to do quite a bit of trotting and cantering. The stability from the saddle gave me quite a bit of confidence and this was one of the best rides we have had together in a long time. Thank you Hilason!!!Edit to add:I have now been riding in this bareback saddle consistently for over a year. I am 5 months pregnant and still going strong. The saddle does end up forming more to your horse’s back but requires a small amount of break in time. Everything is holding up beautifully and we are still able to canter our favorite trails!BUY IT.

This is a very well made and comfortable bareback pad. Unfortunately it did not fit my high withered horse.

I cannot believe I ended up with this pink pad for my 15.3hh gelding but so glad I did. researched many but didn't want to buy anything expensive until I determined if I would really want to ride out of a saddle. This is the most comfortable thing I have sat in and my horse I believe loves it. You will need to get a dressage girth to go with it. The only thing I'm not sure of is that is fits tight around his withers. I do put a light pad under it until it breaks in a little. I am not sure it even bothers him and more my imagination. I just love everything about it. I bought the pink as it was cheaper ;)

The media could not be loaded. Very impressed with the quality. It was exactly what I was looking for. It’s comfortable for me and my horse. I have put some slight padding because the outside rim part digs into his back a little bit but with a Midnight Dixie pad it solves the issue. The cinch straps are very stiff so make sure to eat extra wheaties. I highly recommend to anyone. A friend is ordering a purple one for her special needs daughter.

I cannot say enough good things about this pad… this thing is amazing! The handle on the front is a MUST! I have a horse with high withers so he’s painful to ride bareback… first ride with this pad I did a 3 hour trail ride and was completely comfortable. The suede really helps you stay in your seat too. HIGHLY recommend!

Very nice bareback pad. A bit dense and needs breaking in, but I will most likely order more in different colors.

I liked the snug fit on my horse. Using a dressage girth keeps it nice and snug. No slipping. Very comfortable as well.
