The bird house is very sturdy and well made. Easy to clean out too. The air vent at the top of the house is a bit too large so we had trouble with wasps getting in the house. Heavy down pour rains also leaked water from the vent into the nest. I drilled larger drainage holes in the corners of the floor. We solved the wasp problem by attaching screen wire to the inside of the house in the vent area. This house is quite suited for Wrens, Bluebirds, Purple House Finch, Chickadees, Nut Hatch and Prothonotary Warblers which we have in our area so I will order many more of these bird houses.

Well, the House Sparrows loved this outdoor box and raised a family this summer! Well-constructed and it will be around for years!!

The design in the quality material used in these bird houses is exceptional. I look forward to using them for many seasons to come.

I noticed an eastern bluebird trying to get into one of my wren houses. Right away I nailed this house to a cedar tree in my front yard. As I walked away I saw the bluebirds going into it and starting the nest building process. I am literally talking less than a minute! They successfully raised a family in it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the front lip of the roof broke off flush with the front of the box.

Was going to make a couple of these myself until I saw this on Amazon. I couldn't attempt to build for what I paid for this if my time is worth anything.

Had to reassemble. Roof was crooked, door was about an inch to low. Drilled screws for hanging while doing the repairs. Had to laugh. Luckily I keep my power screwdriver nearby. Im keepjng it, the birds will enjoy buy wouldn't buy again.
