I am very pleased with this book. It contains much, much more useful information than I expected. I expected a book mostly on greenhouses of various styles and sizes: it is that, in respectable detail, but it also contains a large assortment of other garden oriented projects. The book is also technically well done, clearly professionally edited and organized. In addition, even a newbie in project construction will find generous explanations, photos and drawings to illustrate the details of construction techniques. Even for those who lack the time or space for any of the larger projects, there are many smaller projects to hold your interest and suggest new possibilities that might have otherwise escaped your thinking. Black and Decker tools ate used to illustrate construction users, but book is not a sales pitch for that brand.To emphasize how pleased I am with the contents, I ordered several more copies as gifts for other members of my family! If your interests are in projects to complement your garden (or your spouse's garden), you won't be disappointed. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, I rate this a solid 6 or even 7 stars!

Overall pretty good, but seemed somehow lacking. There is a pretty big gap between the low cost plastic and pvc junky greenhouse instructions and the higher end small house-like projects. Should have definitely had a project like a professional high tunnel in it.

Good value if you are planing to build a greenhouse, or if you are new to using a greenhouse.

I got this book for my 74 year old mom as she developed an interest in gardening and greenhouses during the time of COVID, and she loves it. The book is well written with colorful photos and easy to follow guides. Overall, it’s a great resource at a fair price.

I Loved this book, it pointed me down paths i would never have thought of taking. I like to have real books to hold in my hands. Those who are looking for more of a blueprint book should look elsewhere, this book gives more ideas, than instructions (although it does contain a few projects and cut lists)

This is a terrific source of good designs. The photographs are downright inspriring. It leaves a lot to be desired in terms of how the book tells you to construct the projects. If you don't know advanced woodworking techniques, this probably isn't the book for you. The bill of materials is inadequate, some of the items listed are incorrectly sized, some are non standard sizes causing additional expense. (The design could easily be sized for standard items.) Pick a project and have a carpenter on speed dial!

I gave this book a 4 stars because I had a lot of question about greenhouses and it answered them all I just wish there were more plans and ideas. I would recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about build a greens or needs ideas for other garden projects.

Love this book. I have utilized two homemade hothouses for the past 15 years here in the Rocky Mountains and this year, I am moving up to real greenhouses this year. Although I purchased Palham twin-walled greenhouses, I am still looking for ideas as to hotframes and suggestions for how to make the real greenhouses work better. This is a good, well put together book with tons of good ideas.
