Mature Women Must-Have!
My mom was 65 when she first bought this product. She was looking for better quality facial moisturizers for her face that were budget-friendly. She didn’t like the fact that it came in a clear glass bottle—most quality oils come in glass amber bottles because sunlight deteriorates oils. She kept it in its original box and stored it in the vanity cabinet behind other items to prevent degradation. At 69, she gets complemented on her you-look-much-younger-than-69! face. Other common compliments are: “Really?! You don’t look 69 at all!”, “Wow!!” and “OMG!”She attributes this to using facial oils, like this one, rosehip, marula and jojoba oils as part of her nightly routine. She suggests that you do your own research to verify which facial oils are best for you and try looking first to Japanese and Korean facial oils. Oriental and Korean mature women pride themselves for having younger looking skin and there are plenty to choose from. So educate yourself. This bottle lasted several months-nearly a year. In the beginning , her face was in need of moisturizing and she used several drops of this oil but as time went by, she found herself using less as her face became more moisturized and some of her fine lines began to soften. There’s not much that can be done for forehead wrinkles as there is practically no collagen in that area. You can soften them but never really eliminate them completely without resorting to more drastic measures. She still continues to use this product in het quest to age gracefully.

Super moisturizing without breaking out
I reach for this oil when my skin barrier looks damaged, or when I just want to pamper my skin and take a break from my normal active ingredients. I personally like the herby smell. It is oil - so this is not something that I can put on before going to work in the morning, as my face gets very shiny. So, I usually put this on at night closer to bedtime (and wake up with supple happy looking skin - just make sure you aren't a side or a face-in-the-pillow sleeper) or in cases of skin irritation or high dryness emergencies, I have put this on during the day in the past - when I am doing errands around the house and unlikely to be in public for a few hours. I think moisture helps heal skin, so I also use this a few days after my microneedling sessions, to speed up the healing process.I don't know the science behind this oil, but I can say it doesn't break me out and always makes a positive difference in my skin, so I would definitely recommend.

Multi-purpose
I choose not to apply this oil on my face to avoid the risk of clogged pores, but I confidently use it on my collarbone with a gua sha, and the experience is absolutely incredible.

Nice but can cause some break out
Been using this for a few months now. So it lasts a while as a little does in fact go a long way. But I’m going for 4 out of 5 stars...Don’t get me wrong, I find this is a good product compared to most. It’s fairly light and doesn’t leave the skin too greasy. It smells sort of floral/citrus or spiced like. Not bad at all on that.So here’s my scoop:I have horribly sensitive skin and often break out with red spots/bumps around the mouth neck and lower face when I have anything irritating or chemical on. Most products with their chemicals cause break outs...or redness.I’ve since turned to all natural ingredient based items. One thing I did notice, yes, a little goes a long way. But as I use it nightly after washing my face and applying just before bed, it does sometimes cause some break outs. I’ve since refrained from daily use to more of 3-4 times a week use and the break outs have improved.Yes I’ve followed the directions. I think just because it is oil based, the skin soaks it up sometimes slower than other types of moisturizers. But then again, I have sensitive skin so maybe on normal skin types, this product is golden. For the more sensitive skin types, this doesn’t cause me any itching, tingling, burning, redness, or things of that nature as other beauty products have.I did get really dry peeling skin around my nose, mouth, and chin this last winter and this oil helps smooth that out.The downside, if used daily, may cause break outs. I get little ones around my nose and mouth and sometimes on my neck. But by slowing down the use, that seemed to go away.So for that I gave 4 out of 5 in that it can cause the skin to break out. I wish I could use it daily as my skin can get really dry. But it otherwise is a good product.

Face oil
I have been using this product for 6 months now, it really does work. My skin used to be dry and have a small fine lines around my eye area. Ever since I started using it, after 2-3 months. I can see my skin is getting smoother and less fine lines around my eyes. I recommend this product.

Causing bumps on my skin
I bought this due to a previous brand I bought tsubaki oil from being discontinued and I'm seeing small skin colored bumps on my face since I started using this product. I, also, notice when I add it to my moisturizer it causes my skin to feel like it's been stung and it's fairly red after application. I have two bottles (one for travel and one for home bc I with in the airline industry) and they're both most likely going to go to waste because I'm concerned it'll cause my skin to breakout. I might continue to use it around my under eye area since that doesn't react the same, but overall it's a waste and sad. The product doesn't have a floral scent at all, it's a very strong chemical oil smell for those who care about product scent. For reference, my skin is pretty sensitive, mostly on the dry side except for my chin area and near my hairline and I usually use products made by Boscia (Japan founded, US produced now).
