These coasters are absolutely the best coasters in the whole world. I have purchased or been gifted every single type of coaster. Some are clearly just for decoration and absorb nothing, but others boast they are specifically designed to absorb a boatload of liquid. Those "others" are a complete joke compared to these.First, you can make these as pretty or as basic as you want. The design is entirely up to you, because you insert the cocktail napkins of your choice. I have never been excited to shop for cocktail napkins in the past, but I sure am now. I've included photos of the cocktail napkins we used for our wedding as well as some colorful summery ones I found. The thicker, more cloth-like napkins last a very long time. I prefer those over the more papery ones. They also seem to lay flatter inside the coaster.Second, cans and glasses fit perfectly inside the ring, and the napkin does exactly what it is supposed to do - absorb the liquid. You would have to soak the napkin in order to get liquid on the table.Third, I've found that when I drink wine outside, the tiny bugs always find their way into my wine. I HATE wasting wine. So now I use these coasters as drink covers - because the ring also fits perfectly over the top of my glass (photos included), and no more bugs in my wine.Finally, I'm not sure what the recommendations are, but I've put these in the dishwasher on the gentle (china) setting and they come out perfectly clean.The only possible negative I will mention is that being acrylic, they are slick on the bottom, so when you place them atop another slick surface, they will slide. Easy fix, buy and affix those little adhesive pleepaws or glibglobs and you'll be all set.

Love my new Acrylic Coasters. Have been looking for sometime to add to existing acrylic coasters I have had for years. They really work because the coaster does it's job and absorbs any condensation while the acrylic holder holds the napkin. Being able to change the napkin design allows for seasonal themes and compliments any occasion.

I saw these acrylic coasters at my friends house with different colored napkins in each one and I thought that it was an brilliant idea! Found them on Amazon in a set of 6 for a great price and I had to purchase them. Upon receipt, they were individually wrapped in plastic and placed in a box (similar to what you'd find stationary in). After unwrapping each holder and rinsing them (habit), the fun began . . . I have a lot of barware napkins and am having a blast changing them out to suit the theme of the day/evening! I'm going to purchase additional sets for our boat, friends, etc . . .A great gift idea, as everyone needs coasters. Depending on the celebration, don't forget to provide the napkins and make it really special!

I have several sets of these clear acrylic napkin holder coasters. They are great to change out the seasons and/or decor with just a quick switch of a cocktail-size napkin of your choice. The napkin absorbs the condensation of the glasses and protects your surfaces. A perfect hostess gift too. Easy to clean and the napkins slide right in the coaster. The item is as described. The coasters arrived in the time promised by the seller & in good condition.

I have had a set of 6 similar acrylic beverage napkin holders for years and loved them. Was glad to have additional ones for when I have more guests. These came so beautifully packaged, I didn't even realize what they were at first! Besides coming in a nice box with a lovely picture displayed, they are individually wrapped in plastic, so no scratches or marks could get on them. The only thing that was slightly disappointing to me is that they are open on 3 sides so you have to pry the one side apart slightly to insert the napkin. Just slightly annoying. This makes the 3rd, closed side a bit higher than the others also, so stacking you'd want to turn every other one. (My original set was closed on the 2 opposite sides and the napkin slid in easily from either of the open sides.) Having to pry the side open to insert napkin makes me wonder if eventually if one was careless, this would cause the closed side to crack.

Two things make this one of my favorite coasters. I can change the napkin inserts to suit the season or occasion. With most coasters there is the chance of moisture dripping of the edge onto furniture. Because these glass or cup is in contact with the napkin, there is no fear of that. I've had them for years and just ordered and received more for a large gathering. I did give a friend some of them and a variety of napkin inserts several years ago, and she loved them too.

I have a set of coasters similar to these where you put the cocktail napkin in. i really like them and being able to change the napkins out with the event. so i got some to give to others as gifts. the coasters are nice and price is good. I only wish like my set that it had a holder for them to sit in when not in use. I will buy various napkins and give them with the coasters.
