Nifty and portable!
Love the overall size and capacity of this radio- boombox. Good for intimate small spaces with the audio projection; like a cozy living room, kitchen, or bedroom. Of course, it wont be as loud like other portable large speakers for hosting a grand party! The radio tuning knob is a bit tricky to get to the exact precise radio station, but I'm use to this old school style of rolling the knob until the radio station is clear in audio from all the statics! (Not sure if most radio users nowadays are comfortable with this)... It's nostalgic for me! The tape cassette feature works great! All of the function buttons work; play, fastforward, rewind, stop/eject, pause, and even record! I've had old tape players in the past that couldn't produce clear audio like this boombox when I insert and play very old audio tapes. The Bluetooth feature is definitely an upgrade from an ordinary radio boombox. Simply connect the Bluetooth from your devices onto the boombox's name. My only complaint would be the headphones input are not loud enough when using earphones. If there's a remote control to switch modes to radio, tape, or bluetooth that would be awesome. However, you'd have to manually switch the different audio sources/ modes with the notches on top. If you're a fan of soft, relaxing, and comforting audio that brings you back old school style, I'd recommend this product!

Victrola is amazing!
Victrola is amazing! After purchasing one of their record players for a relative, and being blown away by it's quality and sound, I decided to purchase a boombox for myself. I have zero regrets. It's a classic design with surprisingly crisp clarity despite only having one speaker; one quality speaker. I can now enjoy a ballgame on the AM, listen to some old dusty cassette tapes, or even connect it to a dumb device. All for $50 or less.

great little radio
I was looking for cheaper Bluetooth radio for the beach, this one caught my eye because of the retro design and that it had a radio tuner, the cassette deck was just a nice little bonus. The sound quality actually isn't half bad considering it's size , I was impressed. I was expecting more tinny sound but it has a little bit of fullness to it, It's very well made everything has a nice click, or snap to it, the antenna has great tension when pulled out, like you know this isn't going to go bad after a few years, even the tension with the handle it super nice. This feels like a quality built BT/Radio.Love the compact size, perfect for pool side, going to beach, picnic etc. very easy to pack. Overall it's a solid device for what it is. Don't expect Big Boom Box fullness etc. but if your looking for something for nice background music during the summer or for a work area, High recommend. This gets the job done and look great as well.

Works great for the price, some cassettes sound a bit strange though
I own many cassettes at this time, but some cassettes (for example Midnights) sound a bit strange, but it is probably just the cassette due to the fact that all of the other cassettes I own sound fine. One thing is that it did kind of eat my 1989 cassette, but it was my fault cause I kept trying to play it but the button wouldn’t stay down, so I thought it was glitching, it was an easy fix btw the cassette works fine now. But AnYwAyS, it’s a great first cassette player, easy to use, just don’t make the same mistake as me. OH! and also, the headphones do not get very loud, but it’s probably cause my headphones are 10 bucks from target, anyways Tysm bye! 🦵😍🦵

Broke after 3 months and destroyed tapes
Do not buy this! Just three months after purchasing it started eating tapes, distorting the sound, and finally the eject button jammed so that I couldn’t even get the tape out. Horrible!

Drains batteries quickly, but sounds excellent when plugged in.
I initially thought this met the criteria I was looking for in a new radio: aesthetically pleasing, bluetooth capable, portable, a knob for the radio tuner instead of buttons, and (as a bonus) a tape player. When plugged into an outlet, the radio does an outstanding job - the bluetooth connects without any issue whatsoever and the sound is exceptional given the size of the device. I know in some reviews others have complained that their cassette player ate their tapes, but I did not encounter this issue. HOWEVER, the radio seems to drain the batteries very quickly. If the battery life runs down even slightly, the radio basically can't be used; without full battery power, it struggles to pick up radio stations, does not play tapes at the correct speed, and won't connect to the bluetooth. If you don't plan on using this as a portable device very much, then I recommend it, but it is just not a strong choice if you won't be near an outlet.
