Nuvo Lighting SF77/136 Utility Fixture Die Cast Aluminum Durable Outdoor Wall Mount Porch and Patio Light with White Glass Cylinder, Satin Aluminum

I ordered 2 (for front and back porch). One was great, but the glass of the globe on the 2nd one was not thick enough. The glass was so thin that the threads would not catch while trying to screw it in. The globe actually broke in my electrician's hand. Unfortunately, I cannot return it because the return window passed (between the date I ordered it and the date I could schedule the electrician. These look great, but when 50 percent of the items received are unserviceable, it's not worth it. The company's quality control leaves a lot to be desired.

My old one (dusk to dawn) made in the usa finally gave out after 15 years.There are some similar ones available, plastic housing, like my original one, but design is marginal. Came across a vintage Lithonia lighting onEbay, which is almost identical to this one. Took a lot of looking but foundthis item on Amazon - great.Regarding this fixture:Nicely made housing, a square gasket between the fixture and the wall,nice quality accessory pack. Note that (in my case) old work - rectangularboxes - the screws provided do not fit. Seem to be 6/32, used the onesthat were there when I removed the old fixture - 4/40.The "jar" screws in - just great after dealing with tiny setscrews -AND it has a gasket. No bugs in the light, and because of the squarewall to fixture gasket they can't get in the back way either.I found the hand nut that fixes everything to the wall difficult to grip, theO ring is an extra seal around (not under) this nut. If you have difficultythese hand nuts are available in solid brass and easier to grip at HD.I'm not sure if you can fit an A21 (100w) into this fixture. The Cree A194Flow in both 40w & 60w fits with clearance.It is possible to fit the miniature 3wire photocell that HD has, but in thishousing it points skyward. Might fit on the side, close to the wall. Did not need to try this for my use.Bronzotic is a color description I have not heard before - at anyrateit looks black to me. While installing it in daylight there is a hint of brown.Overall, it's perfect - love it - recommended product. Some mfgs stillmake good products.

Sizing not close to what amazon says. Packaging on the box says: width 4.3"Height 8"Then when I went and looked at description, pics...etc...and saw a picture that shows light to be 7"These are short of 6.5" long. Intended to use A21's but they don't fit. The A21 bulbs are alittle longer then regular sized bulbs. Because of this I went to Home Depot and got some A19 bulbs and out them in the two new fixtures. I then took the bigger bulbs and replaced the light bulbs in my other similar light fixtures around my house that are actually the size I intended to buy. Annoying, but these smaller lights on my new deck will be fine as will the smaller bulbs inside. I'd much prefer to have known the bulbs wouldn't have fit before I installed the fixtures. Like I said annoying

Amazon review 9/4/2021 for the Nuvo Lighting SF77/530 Utility Fixture Die Cast Aluminum Durable Outdoor Wall Mount Porch and Patio Light with White Glass Cylinder, White, Wall mount.This review is for the wall-mount porch light variation of the product.Do check that you have a bulb that is rated for an entirely closed fixture - many LED bulbs are not so rated and can burn out due to the excess heat created in such a fixture.All is fine except the glass cylindrical cover does not have many threads. Instead of rotating several turns to secure, it rotates less than one turn. The result is that with very little loosening, the class will fall to the ground and potentially shatter.A cautious recommendation on this product as a result.

The original light outside our front door stopped working. My husband went to change the bulb and it wasn't a bulb but a funky looking flat battery. We couldn't find a replacement for this battery so we looked for a replacement light fixture. We had to get one that looked just like everyone else in our community. I would have liked to put something more decorative, however, our HOA doesn't allow it. Luckily, Amazon had exactly what we needed. We ordered it, it came the next day and was super easy to install. AND, it uses regular bulbs!!!!! Very pleased with this purchase and being new it looks so much better than the 20 year old one that was there.

I used this light fixture on my back porch to replace one that had been missing 20 years. It was simple and sweet and was just what I wanted to cover up ugly wires that were taped together for the floodlights on our carport/backporch. I added a bell under the light for fun. The only thing was that I accidentally broke the glass globe and could only find an acrylic globe replacement that may or may not fit. Since it was a fairly inexpensive fixture, I decided to just order another light fixture because I wanted glass.

This is a very attractive fixture. I bought two. There are no visible blemishes on either of them. I was doubtful the body would be metal at this price point, but it clearly is--very solid. It includes everything you need for installation. It's quite easy to install, though the instructions included don't really spell it all out for you. There are little "O" rings; I believe they go under the ferrules to keep water from working its way into the fixture. You also have to figure out that the bass nuts go on the threaded rod, behind the mounting bar; their purpose is to make sure the rod doesn't continue to spin as you thread the ferrule on over the fixture.The package includes a rectangular gasket to seal the space between your wall and the fixture. Confusingly, the instructions say you must apply caulking/sealant around the fixture. You should really only need one or the other. I went with caulking since I found the gasket unsightly.My only real concern is that the finish is a bit rough. When it comes time to clean these, I think it'll take a bit of work. I would've appreciated a smoother surface.Aside from that, I'm love this fixture.

Llegó a tiempo y en buen estado. Mucho mejor de lo que esperaba en calidad. This light housing is pretty solid. Made from metal not plastic or fiberglass. Looks pretty good too. Exceptional value. Great cheap light fixture.

This fixture is a good value. It's inexpensive and made of glass and aluminum. The lens unscrews from the base so installing a light bulb is easy. The fixture is rated for up to 150 watt bulbs.

Not sure what kind of coding it has, but looks like someone handle it with dirty hands and when I tried to clean it, does not come off.
