Wishing for better colors, but good value overall.
The beige color is undesirable unless you are on a safari (a century ago). Wish it came in more modern colors like burgundy, burnt orange or a purple. The pockets are terrific. First trip to Japan when it was 90s and humid. This jacket was a bit too hot, but perfect during travel days when I needed more pockets. My smart phone (Nexus 5X) didn't fit in the clear phone pocket, but it fit in the larger pocket on the outside. The pocket inside by the back was perfect for my toddlers extra clothes and did provide a little cushion while seated for so long; however, my Scottevest back pocket is big enough for a magazine which is a more desirable use for that pocket. The bottle pocket is smart, but then bulges underneath. I guess I would rather have the bulge than be thirsty. My Scottevest has the water bottle inside the front pocket and doesn't hit me while walking. My biggest turn offs are the lipstick and sunglass pockets...no way to secure those items while in transit. It is open at the top or has a flimsy closure. I lost my lipstick in the x-ray scan and the lipstick was caught in the rollers of the machine.I do like how the hand pockets feel. I think this would be a better spring/fall jacket, and not summer.

LOTS of pockets...a good thing!
This jacket is cuter than I anticipated...nice clean lines and not too boxy or big. That being said, don't expect to wear it over a bulky layer, unless you size up. I wore it out on a test walk yesterday, and it works well as a wind breaker. I got this primarily for plane travel and it's so hard to find a woman's jacket with interior pockets. This has a ton of them. I'm quite sure if you put something in each of them, you won't be able to zip it up, you won't be able to walk, and you will look like a really lumpy Michelin tire man. However, it should be perfect as a "stealth" third carry-on piece, important with airlines getting increasingly picky about carryons. I think I can get everything that would normally be in my purse into this jacket, without totally overloading it. Should also be great for sightseeing, shopping, etc. to,let you go purse free. It will takes its first trip next week, so I will update if there are any unexpected problems, but I think it will be a big help.

Finally! A Great Travel Jacket for Women!
Love! Finally I have a well-made travel jacket with enough secure inside pockets to rival my husband's. I would normally fit a size small but because I wanted to be able to "load up" the pockets for international travel β without risking having all sorts of unsightly bulges on a form-fitting silhouette β I chose medium. The result is a very roomy feel but a nicer overall drape. The fabric, especially soft lining around the collar and front zipper, made it comfortable and warm enough to sleep in on an overnight flight in a cold window seat. It was easier to go through security checkpoints using the pockets in lieu of β or in addition to β a purse. I carried my cell phone, keys, passport, money, cards, iPad, headphones, kleenex, ear plugs, etc., in the pockets. The pockets turned out to be much handier to access while sitting in an airplane seat. An added bonus for air travel: I stuffed an extra pair of underwear and a t-shirt in the large back pocket which gave me an added degree of lumbar support in the airplane seat!

Needs more zippered pockets.
I purchased this jacket for traveling security and not having to carry a purse. I just used this jacket for a two week trip. Too many of the pockets are rather small and have tiny velcro tabs to secure them. Therefore, I didn't trust using these pockets. I have an iPhone 6, and the cell pocket was too small for it, which also it was being held with a small velcro tab. I mostly used the large zippered pocket on the inside right front of the jacket to carry most items, since it was deep. The two exterior pockets do not have any type of closure, zippers, snaps, or velcro. Overall I was glad to have the jacket, since I was able to not carry everything in my purse keeping my wallet and cell securely in the large interior pocket. The jacket would be better if the pockets would be replaced with larger zippered pockets, and not just a large quantity of less quality small pockets.

It was a bit smaller than I would have liked, but it was OK
It was a bit smaller than I would have liked, but it was OK. It did work perfectly for my travels! I ambulate with two forearm crutches, so I cannot carry a purse as it bangs against the crutches and could make me fall. This was perfect to carry all that I needed to carry with easy access. When I went thru Security, I just took the jacket off and sent the whole thing thru the scanner! Easy Peasy! Again, my only complaint, I wish it would have been a little bit larger cut.

Skinny arms
I liked everything about this jacket, especially all the pockets, but the sleeves were too narrow! I do not have big arms. I am 5'3" 125 lbs, and bought a M. The sleeves were so narrow that if I wore anything long sleeved under the jacket and bent my arm, it was cutting into my arm. That was disappointing, since I like to layer and was planning to use this as an outer layer. The length of the sleeves were a tad long, but I didn't mind that, and overall length and size were good otherwise. I ended up sadly returning it, sorry that it did not work out for me.

I love thise jacket
I love thise jacket!! Very nice feel to the material and the pockets will be very handy for airline travel and touring. The fabric is supposed to be water resistant (not waterproof), but I have not tested it out to see exactly what kind of repellancy the material affords. Comfy, even somewhat "stylish" and soft "cottony" feel. I liked it so much I immediately purchased one for my husband before they ran out (this charcoal color is last years "model" so that is why it is discounted. I like it much more than the bland khaki/walnut version of 2015!).

Jacket
Lots of pockets and some are large enough to even fit my large camera. Disappointed that the sizes run so small and that there are not larger options to select. It is very light weight so the weight of possessions is the only real weight noticed.
